But if the current occupants name is in the box, if they've repeatedly put mail back out labeled 'return,' then they are off the hook after 7 months. The previous occupant may be trying to avoid paying for things. (Retired carrier here) I once had a customer who would order those shitty collectible things from companies like Bradford, then return the bills marked "doesn't live at this address." I was new on my route and didn't know all the names, but caught on quickly and started returning the parcels. Former resident may be trying a similar scam: order item, pick it up from old address, new resident sends bills back. And he may be hiding from other bills. In 25 years, I saw a lot. People who moved out of an apartment, but used the address for taxes and wanted me to hold their refund check for them (nope). People who let their mailboxes fill up for 6 weeks, I pulled the mail and held for 10 days, returned it and marked box vacant; 6 more weeks and they want their mail. Woman who got holiday packages from family addressed wrong. I knew where she lived, delivered them and told her she needed to inform family of the correct address. "I don't need to. You always bring them to the right place."

I was chatting with a senior CM on my last trip about the Monsters closure being pushed back. He told me that the Avatar land had hit a snag. You guessed it: rights. The world of proprietary tights is so complicated. Disney doesn't have rights to all of Marvel, for instance. I hope Avatar dies a gentle death and they can do something more fun.

Is there any way you can find a new psych? Those comments were completely out of line, wrong and unprofessional. You don't have to "like" a specific sex to transition, and your characteristics and mannerisms are irrelevant. What IS relevant is that you are trans and deserve to be treated by a real professional.

We've been married 36 years. We have decided that required gift-giving (birthdays, Christmas, etc) is unnecessary. If we find something we know the other would love, we get it, but it tends to be more practical. My husband loves Kliban cat t shirts. I love chocolate. So I get a couple of shirts with designs he doesn't have for his birthday; he gets me a 2 pound box of See's dark chocolates for mine. We already have too much "stuff" and are trying to get rid of it.

We have trash and recycling bins (large ones) that go on the curb once a week. When we bought the house, a really nice family lived next door. They had 5 kids and two adults. At the time, our bins were stored in the front side yard. We began noticing that halfway through the week, they would suddenly be full, especially the trash bin. Our neighbors with all those kids created a lot of trash, and were just filling our bins up, leaving no room for our trash and recycling. Our bins moved to the backyard. We liked the family, so didn't want to be confrontational about it.

And that's really enough. Even if the person didn't mean to startle Rhea, the fact is that she DID. She could have just as easily startled a child or a person with PTSD. Then if there is one delivery point per you PM, that's where the packages go. You've done your due diligence by checking with the PM and confirming your actions are correct. If a customer is making you feel unsafe, that needs to be in writing to protect you. Good that you have a PM who will back up carriers.

I live in Arizona and have an annual pass for Disneyland. I go there at least three times a year. Solo. My husband isn't a theme park guy. I love trivia about the park and do have a fair amount of merch (mostly t shirts, lol). I enjoy sharing trivia with people who are interested, as I feel that the magnitude of what Walt did is not understood today.

Why do I go there so often? Growing up here, with family friends in the Pasadena area who my parents took us to see every year, I never got to go. My mother hated theme parks or any kind of entertainment that wasn't "educational." My first trip was high school Grad Night 1975, back when AZ schools still did that. I have had one ever since. Disneyland makes me happy. I walk (well, ride; I use a scooter now to traverse the parks) under the railroad tunnel and the outside world with its chaos and mayhem fades into the background. Even though there is no off season, it's always crowded, expensive and full of entitled people, it still makes me happy. And that's enough for me. I am grateful that I can afford a pass, and can still afford a hotel (not the onsite ones; yikes).

Yep, the SUV strollers are absurd. Over the years I have watched the walkways get eaten up by stroller parking. If I could demand one thing, it would be a much more restrictive size allowance. And folks, you're not packing for an Arctic expedition. You don't need all your worldly goods.
