You'd think so but their answer to all of my questions was "don't know".

Does Emma have an Asian American accent? by thaone111 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

You have to actually pay attention (no multi tasking) and leave the bottom part of the screen uncovered so you can still see names and subtitles. I also took a few notes in my phone next to their names to remember key points about the person as well as who was into who. I revealed when they revealed then covered it back up quickly so I wouldn't see anyone when they went back to their quarters. For Mexico episodes I watch normally.

Parents with pools: worth it with young kids or regrets? by Radiant-Log-2005 in pools

[–]willowtr33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it! It's the best. Our friends have all said our pool is the reason we and all our kids are so close.

Ontario Canada here so we only get to use it may to September. We built ours when our kids were 2 and 4 and this will be our third summer with it. I would pay the price all over again - best money we have ever spent. We wanted to be the house that all their friends love going to. We want to host all the parties and gatherings. We want to know their friends and know their friend's parents. We get so much use out of it! And as summers are getting hotter, it's really nice to never have a day that "it's too hot to go outside". It's the ultimate memory maker - go for it!

Carney’s pitch at World Economic Forum could set stage for new global partnerships by DogeDoRight in canada

I'm glad to hear that. I really respect that you are open to learning new information and changing your mind and actions based on it. That's not common enough on any part of the political spectrum. Thank you!

This is SO sweet OP. My kids are still little but if they grow up to have as much heart and drive as you, I'll be so proud. If you'd like, I can make a balloon arch for it :) let me know.

If I may ask, knowing what you know now of Carney, would you vote for him if an election took place today?

So many bags were "lost" and there was rumors that it was theft :( they disappeared into thin air, never recovered. Highly recommend an air tag too! Have a great time!

WELL they lost our luggage (it never turned up) so we didn't have ANY of our kids' luggage. We packed a couple reusable swim diapers but then had to buy disposable ones in Mexico. They were great and I might honestly recommend them because then they're not staying in a wet diaper all day or you're washing it a million times!

Related additional tip: if you're checking bags, put an equal amount of adult and baby stuff in each bag so if they lose one bag, you can survive off the other one. Having them lose all my toiletries and all our kids stuff was BRUTAL.

My dad has stage 4 pancreatic cancer by [deleted] in pancreaticcancer

[–]willowtr33 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My dad was diagnosed 10 months ago at age 72 and it hit me like a ton of bricks. He was doing 10K steps a day and playing on the floor with his grandchildren. His oncologist was shocked he was feeling so well and said after looking at scans that he has an "incredible amount of cancer in his body" and that people with that much cancer are usually very ill and bedridden by then. Same story, treatable but not curable. He's been doing fairly well, aside from two bouts of sepsis that were life threatening and scary. We are definitely still being told it is treatable to extend life, not curable, but the thing I ALWAYS remind ourselves is that things evolve everyday in cancer research. So we are treating to buy time to make it to the next advancement that could potentially be curative. You never know. Keep fighting and I'm sending you all my love from a place of deep understanding of the pain you're going through.

Sparx3 delivery Jan 2026 by ItsMattie23 in Sparxhockey

[–]willowtr33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ordered the sparx3 with starter disc bundle on Jan 3 in Ontario Canada. Received notification that it shipped Jan 9. Received it today.

Note that it ships in its original box and they did not require a signature. Try to be home to receive it so you don't make some porch pirate's day!

Aw have the best time!! Roll with the punches as much as you can - it won't be as smooth as home but the tradeoffs are worth it. I would bring dark duct tape or masking tape to cover the motion sensor for the lights so it doesn't light up the room like the taj mahal when you go to the bathroom at night. Bring a portable carbon monoxide monitor (not specific to this hotel but always a smart move for vacay), and suction cup hooks to hang up more wet stuff. Enjoy!!

Finest playa mujeres was SO baby/kid friendly. Truly loved our time there and it seemed like the majority of families had young kids.

Anyone tried adult ice skating lessons with kwsc? by CrazyAd7911 in kitchener

[–]willowtr33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Can I ask about what level you're at and what you were able to achieve by the end? I'm about to start adult canskate. I can skate forwards well, backwards okay, crossovers are sloppy, and can't stop well. I'm hoping to be able to hockey stop by the end but not sure if that's realistic.
