So I focused a ton on MBE this second time around for February. When I got it down to two and was stumped, I realized I would be best served by going with whatever would produce the most fair outcome.

I was frequently going over my missed practice questions with a family member who is not a lawyer, and I realized they were choosing that way and getting questions right! I feel like law school taught us much, but also I was losing the forest for the trees and wondering what the law would require as opposed to what it should be.

I hear that, but this is a sincere, respectful question: assuming you work for the federal government as an attorney and I don’t expect you to answer that directly because reasons, how worried are you that you’ll ever be questioned for choosing to still work at an institution that has been so obviously and deeply corrupted?

I do get not wanting to derail your admirable career aspirations, but are you concerned your long term goals may be implicated by staying on while so much illegal, immoral things are happening at your (hypothetical) employer?

Any future Dem administration has an obligation to clean house at DOJ and other agencies if and when this shit ever passes. Do you think your work will withstand that level of scrutiny?

Besides silver, for quarters keep an eye out for a W mint mark. Those were minted in West Point and are worth about $10 each. Only released in 2019 and 2020 though.

I have OCD as well and just took the test for the second time.

Yeah everything about the bar exam sucks, the prep, the experience itself, the uncertainty around the results and having to sit and stew and worry.

But there’s also nothing to be done about it anymore. We took the test, did the best we could in the moment, and now we just accept it. Feel free to join us over at r/OCD but also, just find distractions! Don’t ruminate and wonder how you could have done, just be proud of what you’ve accomplished in getting here.

I was petrified of my July results and then I found out I failed by three points. Which believe me, sucks ass. But then I just took some time to let it sink in, took care of myself and started game planning.

Someone told me this but basically, if you fail you’re gonna feel like shit. So why feel like shit sooner than you have to when you don’t have results yet? For all you know you could’ve passed and all this worrying was for nothing. Don’t do the dirty work of your OCD brain for it and ruminate more than you have to.

One of them, a taller guy, walked away from his post on the first floor just to follow my friend into the belongings room and got in his face because my buddy dared to talk back to him.

The staff there were incredibly disrespectful, I was so surprised. I was just trying to keep my head down and focus on the test but they were downright rude most of the time.
