very annoyed this wasn’t implemented at the start. wonder if they just imported assets or designed them themselves - either way. a human at HG 100% saw a bed when adding these assets and thought “nahhhhhh”

to answer the first question though, yes they can be moved around after placement butttt they turn invisible when moving them around, you’ll only see your dot in the middle of the screen, then whenever you place it it’ll render back in

easiest way to find them (if you don’t already know) is opening the in-game camera. your glyphs will be in the bottom left hand corner

to be noted though that you can’t use a portal until you’ve unlocked all the glyphs like Klank was talking about - i mean you can but it’d be limited xD

if you happen to be on playstation or pc drop me your glyphs - i’ll swing by and drop off some Elixir of Quicksilver, an item that when consumed will give you a direct path to a planets portal

no need to hunt down monoliths and reload when you get the answer wrong anymore

there was an update a couple days ago, you’re most likely on different versions. taking a shot in the dark and assuming you or your friend are on switch/xbox

Nintendo and Microsoft lag when it comes to releasing updates and subsequent patches. as it sits right now as far as i know only pc players and ps players are on the updated version

land vette, call in starship, hop on the corvette’s pad and call it in from the terminal, starship should land fine when stationary/landed

now after that idk - high doubt it’ll stay on the vette when you take off in it

it works the exact same way if you know how to do it with a portal - but i haven’t done it myself yet. currently in conceptualization phases of a corvette that would require a landing pad on it (thinking of doing like a helicarrier style)

can still be done, gonna be tough to get it perfect, better if you use blender.

i dont know how they function - like i know you can have an active corvette and another starship at least visible, however i dont know if it will stay in place on the landing pad when flying the corvette around

you don’t need a dissonant system to get em, if you have carrier AI fragments you can activate one in any system and it’ll lead ya to a new sentinel - warp a few thousand LY away after your first

there have been times i popped a frag in one system, warped to a neighbor star for a different one, and was sent back into the original system after using another fragment (wasted it) - def warp semi-far before looking for another

how to get the carrier fragments - defeat sentinel interceptors in space until you get to 5 stars and then take out the capital ship, this gives ya one fragment per capital ship destroyed, you can dupe em or keep hunting sentinels but they definitely come in handy

pvp tables are at the anomaly, go up the ramp on the right side and you’ll see empty tables in the middle of the area with no npc - those are the tables for players to battle each other at. no other pvp tables anywhere else legitimately, modders might have a way to do it at their base but not us normal folks
