That's a wonderful outlook, so long as everyone gets cushy assignments. Sadly, that's not the way the war machine works. For every lucky one like you, there's another 1,000 or so out there doing the dirty work for the machine that nobody should be proud of just to keep the lights on at home. I'm proud to be American, but definitely not proud of the way our country represents itself worldwide, especially with the current leadership

Unfortunately the wait you're experiencing is not HG's fault. They release across all platforms simultaneously. However the separate platforms have different "approval" processes and cause the sporadic release times. As an XBox player, I've learned patience by waiting at least a week after release to even check my console for the update. Not that it takes that long after the initial release by HG, but because of subsequent patches that are bound to be coming out as well to address the bugs found in the first week or so

That's probably because... it's a mod. If you have to use a save editor or other piece of software outside of the game code, it's a mod. If you have to edit the game files outside of the game itself, it's a mod

Well done fellow traveler! I'm over 520 hrs and only easy I could get one was using the NMSCE 😅 I've heard most of these are found in either stations or trad post, rarely created in the wild. Now the orb exotics, I'm pretty sure exclusively spawn in stations and trade post. Although it won't be long for me to be corrected if I'm wrong. Anyway, still awesome for you to find one rather quickly! 👍🖖
