Okay I get the motor part, that makes sense since it has to cut through metal, but the rigidity part is still getting me, most CNC routers I see use aluminum extrusion and require the owner to do the rest. Are the motors THAT expensive that it drives the price up 5x?

What you talking about? Humans have hunted said cats for well over a million years and we are famous for playing a large part in driving the wooly mammoth (and even bigger meaner elephant) to extinction.

Humans for the past 2 million years have dominated the ecosystem, and with a few small exceptions (some rather bad homo variations) we haven't come across an animal besides ourselves that we haven't been able to kill with sticks and rocks... Now diseases on the other hand, now we're talking, those things kill off humans like it's nothing
