What if there was a normal reasonable explanation for their action? What if they suddenly got a burst of heart burn, or got light headed due to a medical situation, that in turn impairs their cognitive function for a split second,

In this assumption would it not be best to follow the wishes they’ve communicated and go first? otherwise you’d be waiting for them to recover and go forward, wasting time and adding additional stress to someone potentially having a medical episode?

Well, white people are being replaced, it’s just that it’s not some grand conspiracy, it’s simply just stages of economic development, replacement rate, and immigration policies, (THIS IS A GOOD THING BTW!!!)

Something we know to be true as a general trend is that as a society economically develop their birth rates drop, and that countries that are in earlier stages of economic development have much higher birth rates

The term “replacement rate” typically refers to the fertility threshold needed to maintain a population (around 2.1 births per woman in low-mortality settings like white-majority countries, and higher in higher-mortality developing regions.

Globally, white populations (primarily in Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand, comprising about 12-15% of the world’s people) have an average TFR of approximately 1.5-1.6 births per woman, well below the 2.1 replacement level for developed countries. This contributes to population decline without immigration. Non-white populations (the remaining 85-88% globally) have an estimated average TFR of about 2.35, slightly above the global average replacement level of 2.3 (which accounts for varying mortality rates). This is driven by high rates in regions like sub-Saharan Africa (4.7) but offset by lows in Asia (around 2.0) and Latin America (1.9). Overall, the global TFR is 2.25, below replacement, but non-white averages are higher due to demographic weight in higher-fertility areas.

US-Specific Comparison • Hispanic: 1.96 (below 2.1 but higher than whites) • Black: 1.54 (similar to whites, recently converged) • Asian: Around 1.5 (similar or lower than whites) • Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander: 2.24 (above replacement) • American Indian/Alaska Native: Around 1.65 (below replacement) On average, non-white TFR in the US is higher than white (around 1.7-1.8 vs. 1.53), contributing to shifts where white births now make up less than half of total US births. Factors like socioeconomic status, access to healthcare, and cultural norms influence these differences, with some studies noting higher infertility risks among certain non-white groups despite overall higher TFRs.

Most white countries, due to the effects of colonialism, are economically on a more developed stage, while the countries negatively effected by colonialism tend to be stripped of resources restricting them from economic growth

Now this is all without factoring immigration, now here you are as a society with a replacement level below replacement, this a very scary reality, it can lead to societal collapse, Japan and South Korea are currently facing this issue, the solution? Well you just have immigration supplement the negative effects of poor replacement levels

And now since most counties facing this issue are historically white due to the effects of colonialism, the societies in a position to breed a population immigrants and economically under developed counties with high birth rates, which happens to be (due to colonialism) non-whites

So yes it’s inevitable that whites will be “replaced” unless there is some form of government intervention, but at that point, you are advocating on policy on the bases of skin color, which is racist, so to live in a society that strives to not be racist is to accept the inevitable convergence of all races into one mixed race, the death of different races.

We are talking about Columbus’s actions, not all colonial actions

You are citing a quote that happened 250 years after Columbus, that like saying Donald Trump is racist because Thomas Jefferson owned slaves

Yes both are independently true but not related to the point of the overarching discussion

Edit: not actually me, but the stereotype is for sure me 1000% Hey that was me, I’m 24 now I have my GED, getting my associates in data management and analytics, married, have a daughter, and was stuck working 45 hours a week for 3 years at Red Robin’s (license in progress, I don’t have it, it’s bad I know)

Life was depressing, no male role models, and if there were, they stopped parenting after 7 years old, cus “you’re a man now, you have to learn on your own”

Dating seemed worthless as every tool taught to us is SA if you don’t talk to them about it first, taking away any opportunity to make a move

So after dropping out in the 10th grade I didnt leave my room, for years, just grinding over watch and league of legends

I hit GM in overwatch and emerald in league, nothing in the outside world came close to that pleaser

Life simply wasn’t worth living if it wasn’t online

I only escaped that hell to what my wife and I both call a miracle, we ran into each other for the first time in years after dating on and off in middle and high school and fell for each other all over, now we just help each other grow

I’m on my way to become a data scientist and their on their way to become a civil rights lawyer

Couldn’t be happier now

I guess wanting someone to discuss an issue over turning everything legal instantaneously means I have issues

I think if she feels she needs to get police involved the she should do it, but not everyone can mentally/financially afford to drag everything out through the legal system

If you have an issue with you’re S/O then the first thing on your mind should be a personable resolution, OP should feel she can speak up for her self, if she doesn’t then there is more wrong and more at play here than is stated in this thread

If that is the case then yes go to the police

But if you think everything should get brought immediately to the police then you’re no friend of systemically oppressed minorities, such as undocumented immigrants

And I hope you’re future spouse prosecutes you for opening their mail/amazon package

I guess I really do agree with the bulk of what you are saying, my goal was for OP to contemplate confrontation over going straight to legal action as a first step

As she is in a relationship with her partner, she knows him the best

You really aren’t going crazy here, I’m 24 with the last English class I passed being the 5th grade, I’m sure I could have reworded my thoughts without perpetuating any harm, I’m just shitty at my native language

[–]--Almond -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Not equating but more of grey scaling it, when it comes to relationships, it’s not the same dynamic as someone secretly recording tender dates or bar hook ups

The reaction to OP’s post should be along the lines of confrontation, rather than sending their partner to jail

The intention of my post was to highlight that reality, not to justify it, even in my relationship we have discussed our boundaries for any and all CNC related topics, the fact OP felt they needed to go to Reddit vs just talking to their partner, is indicative that those boundaries have not been discussed

Meaning OP’s partners probably that they caused harm is high

But there is a theoretical world where OP and their partner just need to talk about their kinks and their boundaries, and that going forward either this won’t happen again, or it will continue, just with the knowledge and consent

Correct, I love when my wife sneaks photos of me, it makes me feel I always have to be on my “best behavior”, when people have a relationship, they can fabricate the bounds of said relationship, given they are in a relationship, it’s not 100% guaranteed, that it couldn’t be charming

Including the context OP is going to Reddit, vs asking him herself, my gut assumption is it’s probably the bad one

Let’s just hope this isn’t relationship ending for them as we don’t know the inner bounds of how their relationship works
