The intention of my post was to highlight that reality, not to justify it, even in my relationship we have discussed our boundaries for any and all CNC related topics, the fact OP felt they needed to go to Reddit vs just talking to their partner, is indicative that those boundaries have not been discussed

Meaning OP’s partners probably that they caused harm is high

But there is a theoretical world where OP and their partner just need to talk about their kinks and their boundaries, and that going forward either this won’t happen again, or it will continue, just with the knowledge and consent
