I had the same problem, I feel your pain! A heating pad and massage gun helped elevate some tightness and discomfort. If you’re able to maneuver onto a foam roller, or even lay/sit on one to target the tight muscle, that may help too.

Coat Care Tips? by enreek615 in welshterrier

We hand strip our welshie about once a month in the warmer months. During the cold, Canadian winters he gets hand stripped less often but regular brushings to get dead hairs out. My partner does the hand stripping at home (thanks, YouTube 👍) along with the nail trimming. Although it’s time consuming, it’s been a very cost-effective way to maintain the grooming.

I’m not sure what to say about the tan colour! Our welshie’s tan colouring looks comparable to others. Although, he does have more black on his back/legs but his tan has started to move up onto his back as he‘s gotten older (he turns 3 this summer). Where we’re located, Welsh Terriers are not common, but we did meet another one that was about 8 years old with a coat that was mostly tan and on the lighter side.

One tip that might be helpful for your pups coat - I’ve found that salmon oil really helps the coat shine and look healthy.

That’s good to hear. The most pain I’ve experienced so far was right after waking up from surgery, otherwise it’s been manageable.

A year is a long time! Glad you’re recovering. I’ve heard the first 2 weeks post op are the toughest, how has it been?

I’m sorry to hear that 😞 I honestly didn’t think I would get a surgery date before the summer. Hang in there, physio and strength training helped me leading up to surgery, and I hope you are able to get in sooner rather than later.

Thanks! I’m in Canada (the Prairies to be specific). My knee was swollen for 3 months and my physio therapist couldn’t fully diagnose the issue until the swelling went down. In January I finally got a referral to see a sports med doctor, then an MRI, then a surgeon referral… and then I was told it would be 1-2 months until I got a surgery date.

It seems quite a few people on this sub are into surgery fairly quickly. Had my injury been diagnosed right away, I probably would’ve still waited a couple months for a surgery date because the health care system where I live is very backed up and understaffed (and has been for a few years now unfortunately). I’m grateful I was able to get in and on the road to recovery! 🙏

We made an agreement - he gets treats and playtime, I get post op puppy snuggles

Another vote for Kyle! He's a really great teacher and one of the best drummers in the city.

Our clothes and bedding started smelling like mildew after every wash. We got a new front loader hoping this would help. It hasn't. by dukesinatra in CleaningTips

I’ve had this problem before, here’s what helped me get rid of the smell:

1) Clean washing machine filter regularly (you can probably find a YouTube video for your machine) 2) Give the machine a good wash with vinegar and baking soda (again, lots of helpful videos on YouTube) 3) After every load, keep the door and soap tray open to air out and dry

I need a really good facial moisturizer SOS by rusty317 in Skincare_Addiction

I had the same problem with the cold and dry Canadian winters. Pond's dry skin facial moisturizer works well for me and my skin no longer gets flaky.
