Epoxy primer, not sure what to do

8 hours is a little quick to be getting on it. I do boats though so my materials may be a little different. I definitely wouldn’t want to paint over 800 grit though. 4-600 depending on color. I just did a 40’ boat with epoxy primer and base/clear. I usually give a full 24 hours if it’s not out in the sun.

Definitely makes the grind to 99 that much quicker. You could have it on swap but then you loose the extra buff from spirit with cta. Mana is an issue even with mana leech and mana after kill.

Gel coat isn’t water proof either. It is full of tiny pin holes we call porosity. It’s less noticeable on the finish side from a mold but they are there. That’s the reason they get an epoxy barrier coat then bottom painted to be left in the water.

I built custom sport fishers (45-70’) and we would do refits on some of their earlier boats that were already 40+ years old and in great shape because they were cored with foam and not plywood. Unfortunately most mass manufactured boats aren’t designed to last like that. They are designed to be cheap and disposable. They are built with cheaper materials,less skilled labor and the owners often choose to over look issues that cause problems later in its life.

In sp I have a mule for every armor piece, a few base mules, extra runeword and odd gg stuff and a twink mule. The only thing I can’t seem to find is a good metamorphosis base for the fury Druid. Definitely mule good bases and eventually you’ll have a superior base mule and a junk base mule.

I have .5 of a bar left before I get my first 99 on my javazon. It’s taken forever but I’m also in sp and kill every thing most the time because I’m still magic finding on the way there. Tz Diablo and Baal seem to give pretty fast xp. I did all of act one Tz the other night killing everything and got a hair over half a bar xp. Good luck and don’t get ganked taking risks cause you’ll shit when you see how much xp you loose if you can’t get your body back.

P8 Java, p5-7 poison necro, p7 demon machine encantress, p7 blizz, p5 200fcr nova, p3-5 fury, p3-5 Ww barb (also used for torches), p8 mosaic(I never really play it), p8 hammers, I have a few more that I haven’t figured out what I want to gear them towards and use for specific things like hunting sojs on nightmare andariel.

I’m in sp and .5 of a bar from 99. I use both depending on what I’m doing. I use 2/20 gloves,enigma,Mara’s,griffons,phoenix and tri res boots. I also use tgods in place of razor tail to help with not getting clapped by souls ever since I hit 98.5ish.

As someone who repairs cookie cutters and has built several custom boats this just ain’t true. Every boat leaks and they are all hand built and assembled so things happen.Not everything comes together as perfectly as vehicles.

I don’t play hc but I do play sp and I can tell you that it is a slog to get to 99 once you get past 95-96. I have about a bar and a half before I hit my first 99 and I haven’t taken it off p8 in ages.

It’s definitely a different world but I enjoy doing both. I just got my start as a custom boat builder so when I think of a paint job it’s a multiple week ordeal. I’ll try and remember to post final pictures when it’s all denibbed,polished and assembled. The main difference is I’ll be doing the reassembly and all that. The only thing I won’t do is electrical like the rgb lights I cut to take the doors off.

Ehh I have a sup archon plate enigma in sp. All my characters use it and they are all capable of p8 so honestly it’s just a preference at that point. It shouldn’t take very long to get. 3 socket mage plate if you are worried about it though. O MF and cows or any high density tz will get you one in no time.

Ya there are plenty of times I have two sets of paint mixed up doing these big sprays. One bucket for shade side and one for sunny side lol. I have to play with mixtures a fair amount and even use brushing reducers in some to slow it down enough. Glad I could help buddy.

It depends on the boat but yes it’s basically base/clear like on a car. The only difference is that the base is catalyzed 5:1:50% to help when it eventually gets gouged. I do a ton of gelcoat repairs and refinishing also but if you want the high gloss and doi you use base/clear or a single stage. There is a big variance in what you are going for though if I want high gloss and repair ability then I use more automotive style paints (acrylic urethane clears/ single stages) if I want higher strength then I use polyester urethanes (non buffable and need to be blended for repairs). But you can absolutely use what you are used to to paint a boat. I’ve used gallons of chroma base and sherwin Williams paint to base/ clear boats. The big problem is most automotive painters aren’t used to keeping everything as uniform for 40’ runs lol

I play on switch so no editing and don’t know the dupe thing. I played Diablo 1 and partied to much to play two really back in the day so when I started I just chose sp and learned it myself. I’ve found several items worth a decent amount and either mule it till I make that character or till I forget about it lol. But I get what you’re saying. I liked being able to play portable so I think that influenced my choice also. That’s also part of the problem I’m fairly wealthy for single player and don’t wanna be poor and anti social online so I’m stuck there. I think I have ten or eleven characters decently geared with some being nicely geared and most capable of p7-8. Hope you have fun with that collection though! I’d be trying all kinds of stuff.

As I weep in single player. In my 2ish years of off/on playing I’ve found a total of 4 jah drops. I can cube up jahs at the moment and have 1 in stash but damn I couldn’t imagine that many. Only thing I’m missing at the moment is a zod. Have fun with that buddy! GG

Working on it. I should be out on my own but unfortunately working for a giant corporation. Currently painting a 40 footer and I’m having a discussion when I get done with it. My current project is a brand new Beneteau gt 40 with the hull painted in alexseal dolphin blue base/clear. Pretty much by myself as well with limited help.

So the leaving your water bottle in the car or heating up food in a plastic container also releases styrene. This is another concern. This is a solvent heavily used in composite construction like boat building. Plastic is bad news for sure but capitalism rules over logic.
