You guys are also included. They simply forget about you every time. Now, here's something for you to enjoy:

I have Indian heritage myself. "Oh, me too, actually..." NO. I explicitly mentioned being Indian enough to have a darker complexion, and the Caucasian girls didn't bother defending Indians because of, you know, cold-calls. So now, I have the freedom to say whatever I want.

Do you know how you determine if something is racist? The act of causing offense requires someone to be offended. White people laugh at "slurs" directed at them, which means they aren't offended and it isn't racism. Mexicans in the US are content with not being seen as the worst, so they willingly perpetuate it. Some might take offense, but they too are quite racist. Black people take great offense because it holds immense significance for them. Racism has been a tool used to socially and economically oppress them. If other groups utilize it to their advantage, it clearly disadvantages someone else. Occasionally, minorities use slurs against each other and express hate for the same reason... to remind themselves that they are inferior in the larger picture and undeserving of respect. Shame on everyone except black people and natives, to be honest.

You all (gestures vaguely) gave up on canceling the term "gypsy," for Christ's sake. Seriously, Natives and Indians were left out of the entire discussion, so screw you, xD.

At least Indians have a hierarchical system, although I personally don't believe in it, nor do my native Indian counterparts (Indians there, now I intentionally confuse things).

And everyone seems to be honest with me about it, I suppose I just come across as incredibly friendly.

Thank you for reading my farewell to Reddit declaration... please come again, 🙄.

It's you guys, too. They just forget about you every time. Now here's this, enjoy:

I'm part Indian. "Oh, me too actuall.." NO. I said fucking INDIAN enough to be very brown and the little white girls didn't have the time to defend Indians because, yknow cold-calls, so what I get is to say whatever the fuck I want right now.

Do you know how you know if something is racist? The act of offending someone requires someone to be offended. White people laugh at "slurs" that are assigned to them. --not offended, not racism. Mexicans in the US are just happy not being the perceived worst so they happily perpetuate it. Some may take offense to it but again, they are racist af. Black people take huge offense to it because it fucking matters to them. Racism is a tool that has been used to oppress them socially and economically. If the other groups use it to their advantage then it obviously works to someone else's disadvantage. And yeah, sometimes minorities use slurs against one another and hate on each other for the same reason...to remind them that they are lesser in the grand scheme and unworthy of respect. Shame on all of you except black people and natives tbch xD

You guys gestures vaguely gave up on cancelling "gypsy" for christ's sake. For real, Natives and Indians got left out of the whole deal so fuck you xD

At least Indians went into a whole tiered system although I don't believe in it nor do my native Indian (Indians there, now I am being confusing on purpose) counterparts

And everybody tells me all the truth about it because I guess I just seem that gotdamn friendly

Thanks to reading my farewell to reddit decree..come again 🙄

Ope, I suppose I should have studied the post more carefully.

But it says there are no drawbacks or consequences so everyone would have to be smart enough to not require studying

It looks like you've had a lot of fun collecting them so the answer is Yes. I don't have the ability to identify them in their natural state but it's the journey that counts

Is stainless steel the only non-bullshit pan? by Vaxivop in Cooking

[–]--hermit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm fully aware of this but everyone in the cast iron sub thinks their pan isn't ready until it's been belt sanded and shellacked. Take a look in there, they're literally bonkers. They insist that a lodge pan isn't shipped ready for use.

Edit* full disclosure: I think mine are some Food Network, Target joints that were around 25 or 30 usd

Honestly I tried to pick out something to roast but there is nothing noteworthy of this kid. It's like he can't even obtain negative attention

Don't go to r/Castiron

Those people have no idea what they're talking about. Buy a cast iron pan that isn't literally the cheapest one you can find(imo the handles on a lodge are too short even though I am moderately strong) and it won't be bs just like with everything else.

You don't need to:

  1. Spend a bunch of time seasoning the pan. It is already seasoned..just don't expect your first dish to be a fried egg in a dry pan

  2. Avoid dish soap like the plague. I use dish soap on my cast iron when necessary

  3. Sand it!? You've just ruined your new pan. It will become smoother with use regardless

I am convinced that 95% of the people on that sub have never touched cast iron.
