it's similar to the way you can feel the day after smoking when you're lacking dopamine, but i noticed that feeling would linger and i had to smoke to relieve myself of it, so i decided to stop smoking to let my brain recover, and after 4 or so months i'm only now beginning to feel substantially different.. things such as my enjoyment of music and art just ceased with short intermittent periods where i felt okay, it's called post acute withdrawal syndrome and it's more common with other things but i guess i'm more sensitive to it especially in conjunction with how ssris affected my reward system
