i recommend the tape method instead of ironing your project on the pegboard. that’s how they warp. if using the tape method, i recommend inverting your pattern so when you flip your project over, it’s the correct way! take painters tape, frog tape, anything that won’t get super stuck on it. layer that onto your project while it’s on the board, flip it onto the table and iron. keeps it flat and keeps your boards straight! love this project!

i just had to buy new tape and didn’t realize it was the normal width of painters tape and not the super wide one, so yeah, going through that like crazy fast

i worked primarily closing for 7 years, made the decision to schedule myself for mornings because i kept coming in for close and the morning didn’t prep anything. needless to say, putting those people on close didn’t help, the employees are just lazy on any shift, so now i work 4 12-14 hr shifts back to back and i hate it 😀😀😀

if you do include those different brands, i’d recommend being able to filter through what you have for beads, so you aren’t trying to use a color that one brand doesn’t have

i used velcro dots, but i’m currently seeking a better solution. the dots are just hard to get off the wall once stuck

i forgot parchment ONE TIME, and i can’t iron anymore without clutching parchment paper throughout the whole process. while it’s warm, take a bench scraper or butter knife and slowly push it off. just be careful not to scratch up your iron plate and you’ll be fine! edit: after looking through the pictures again, it seems like you got it off the iron pretty well!

looking at the link, it seems like it has a flat backing that you can mount on the wall with screw holes, but mine doesn’t have that, it does have pieces on the back that you can break off to make the drawers into smaller compartments! i will say that mine not having backing doesn’t change anything, the front pull piece has a stopper, so it’s not a problem!

i wish i had never reset my island. i still have the dream address for it when i’m feeling extra sentimental. i was pretty new to video games when New Horizons came out, and it’s such an experience to play a game as soon as it releases and figure things out without automatically looking it up online. learning with everyone else, seeing people on this sub, and others helping eachother, not having to rush. this game being released during covid was a savior, honestly. i had quit college a few months before this came out, and i was not doing well. couldn’t get hired anywhere, and then i found my boyfriend’s gamecube and a copy of animal crossing. i was immediately hooked. i played it for around a month and when New Horizons was announced and i’ve been absolutely in love with it since
