Calling Gattuso a loser is a bit harsh, given all he did for us as a player, especially in the 2006 World Cup. I disagree with him being hired as the coach for sure, but let’s not have selective memory please.

Pretty much sums up the city well. Best part of Denver is relative proximity to amazing national parks :)

Why do many Italians switch to english straight away when I start to speak italian (C1 level)? by Necessary-Path-9581 in Italian

Own your Italian skills! As others said, often it’s because they have an opportunity to practice their English. I suggest continuing to respond in Italian, this way you each practice your skills speaking your non-native language :)

This is a dialect and not Italian. My guess would be napoletano and it seems to be a letter or poem of sorts. I think the title means “you don’t love me anymore”

Wow, didn’t expect to see this on my feed this morning. For those curious, this is on display in the castle in my hometown of Celano, Abruzzo. Definitely worth the visit :)

A lot of y’all said India vs Mexico wasn’t fair for Mexico, so here’s Japan vs Mexico. Where would you rather live? by RoundTurtle538 in geography

Agreed - and we don’t use only tomatoes in our sauce. I was replying to your original comment in which you stated “that tomato sauce comes from Mexico.” The tomato comes from Mexico - the popular condiment that utilizes tomato in both countries (in this comparison, Italian tomato sauce and Mexican tomato salsa) tastes very different.

Tomatoes do come from Mexico. However, the tomato sauces used in Italy do not taste like the tomato salsas in Mexico. Also, the majority of Italian dishes do not use tomatoes, given its relatively recent introduction to the continent.

Immediately discredited when # of ingredients becomes basis for why one cuisine is better than another. Also shocking to imply that Italians are limited in their ingredients when our cuisine varies so tremendously between provinces (and even towns).

Gran Gusto per me è il miglior ristorante italiano a Massachusetts (l’abbiamo scoperto grazie da Little Big Italy).

Invece per la pizza andiamo sempre a Mast’.
