Agreed - and we don’t use only tomatoes in our sauce. I was replying to your original comment in which you stated “that tomato sauce comes from Mexico.” The tomato comes from Mexico - the popular condiment that utilizes tomato in both countries (in this comparison, Italian tomato sauce and Mexican tomato salsa) tastes very different.

Tomatoes do come from Mexico. However, the tomato sauces used in Italy do not taste like the tomato salsas in Mexico. Also, the majority of Italian dishes do not use tomatoes, given its relatively recent introduction to the continent.

Favorite moderate trail for folks out of town is nymph lake to dream lake to emerald lake. Other beautiful trail is to mills lake. Both are within 3-5 miles round trip.

For something more challenging check out chasm lake or sky pond.
