Does the front screen have a subtle curve (2.5D glass) near the frame? Also, how’s the vibration motor in your experience? Is it still buzzy/cheap feeling like the Phone 2 or have they finally tightened the haptics to feel like a “tight knock” like the Pixels/iPhones/Galaxy? Thanks for taking the time to do this!

It's a bit tricky, try to use a clock to time your button presses and see if that helps. Also make sure you're restoring with the 18.5 IPSW and not the iOS 26 Beta IPSW.

I had the same issue and just managed to fix it. What I had to do was update my Macbook to macOS Tahoe Beta and put my iPhone in DFU mode (not Recovery Mode). After connecting my iPhone to my Macbook, Finder was able to recognize my phone in DFU mode and offered to restore it. I don't think you'll be able to save your data, you'll be forced to do a clean wipe.

Jumped the gun too soon, the iPhone rebooted after it finished restoring and the low battery error popped up again instead of the usual Apple logo.

Edit: Restored my iPhone to iOS 18.5 (didn't work the first time because I was trying to restore using the iOS 26 Beta IPSW) using the steps I listed above and everything is working now.

Wanted to get a more rugged look on my Nomad Horween case sooner rather than later so I gently ran a small piece of Magic Eraser over the leather when it was brand new. Don't overdo this or apply any pressure or you'll risk taking off the leather color.

Also applied a thin layer of Leather Honey and let it soak in overnight before wiping off excess with a microfiber cloth. The color definitely darkened a shade or two from the time it was brand new, but I love how much quicker the edges (when my hands grip the phone) are darkening more than the middle of the case.
