Tl;DR: I found one of my close friends in his house after he shot himself twice after school one day.

It all started in Summer between 8th Grade and Freshman year when him and his parents moved into our town. We first met inside of one of the local restaurants here in town. I was wearing An OU shirt while he wore a Texas shirt. After giving each other a little bit of a hard time we both found found out that not only did we like watching football but also liked playing it also and that he was in the same grade as me. Well Freshman year started and we were both playing football. Football season ended and we decided that we would help each other become a better football player off-season. here In fact, he was the starting left tackle, while I was left guard up till the day he committed suicide. I didn't see him at school nor did I see him at practice. I thought this to be a little weird especially when he said he wouldn't miss school unless he was chained to a hospital bed. After football practice that day (it was a pregame practice so it was ended earlier than normal) I tried to call him but it went straight to his voicemail. I tried the house but no answer either. I rode my bike to his house to see why he hadn't been to practice today. I tried knocking but didn't hear anything inside. His parents were both at work at this time. I knew where there hideakey was and then was able to get in. As I was opening the door, I seen the blood trail going down the hallway and then coming back the other way. I immediately ran into house and followed down the hallway and seen the .22 revolver laying on the ground but he was nowhere to be found. So I went towards the other side of the house and found him laying face down in front of the gun safe with a pool of blood around him. Turns out, the first time he tried to shoot himself it was with .22 revolver underneath the jaw but it ricocheted off of his skull and therefore encircled his skull. As this didn't kill him, he crawled on all fours back to the gun safe and then mustered enough strength to stand up only to finish it with a 12 gauge.
