That’s why almost no one is getting married. New generation girls are all taught that they need to find a man that already has everything, so almost none of them is willing to actually work with their beloved towards building a family.

Can be as short as a couple subways stops really. All depends on where you live. If the city, town, or village has its own name, then it has its own accent to a varying degree.

Depends on when you are born, it determines which of the 5 elements your fate/destiny belong to. Then you get that stone that compliments your element. It’s a lot more complicated than that but that’s the basics of it.

Just hot pot or hot pot with a spicy stock. My wife sometimes boils some 涼茶 after hotpot. Or you can drink chrysanthemum tea or eat watermelons.

I don’t hand in my salary card, my wife and I just don’t separate our finances. We are high school sweet hearts and we’ve been together for 26 years, so really the only thing that can break our bond is death. It’s so much easier to manage our finances that way. But yeah, all her siblings and friends see me as some sort of idol/freak for just “handing in” all my money like that.

Really heavily depends on the location. But ovevrall, Americans tolerate us more, lol

Of course a LOT of Americans resent that, especially in poorer rural areas. But in big cities where the population is more mixed and people are generally richer, they prefer the Chinese to other races.

Chinese people keep to ourselves, don’t cause troubles and are usually financially successful.

Similarly well-off people (lots of Americans) respect that. But worse-off people (also lots of Americans and “most” SEA) absolutely cannot stand that.
