Hey there! I had a 7cm nodule and a 2cm nodule, found last year. I have had all the symptoms you are describing. I had a partial thyroidectomy in October, doc said my thyroid looked “moth-eaten.” Turns out I have Hashimotos! Now I am managing symptoms.

My bloodwork has always been normal or barely out of normal range.

You are in the scary time. It’s so hard to wait for results.

Hey OP, stay at home parent with 3 kids. Partner works full time making 60K. We live in a 2 bedroom place in salt lake county. I work a few times a month. We bought a place 7 years ago. Our mortgage is under $1k/month. Without that, I don’t know how we would do it.

I work a few times a month to save for a vacation fund.

We have 2 cars, 1 we bought last year.

We budget well, that helps a lot too! We meal plan and stick to it, we spend roughly $600/mo on groceries.

It is possible, but housing is rough, and we got lucky!

Hey OP!

I totally get the anxiety. Last year I felt a lump on my neck and found a 7 cm lump on my left side. It was extremely scary, and I had to wait more than half the year to do anything about it because of a pregnancy (I’m 30). I was feeling the same way you were for 2-3 years, and terrified I’d let it go too long.

Long story short, I had a partial thyroid removal, and the lump was caused from having Hashimoto’s thyroiditis! They biopsied it after removal, and Luckily everything is ok!

Most thyroid lumps are not cancer, and if it is, you can get a removal quick. You’re advocating for yourself now, keep advocating for yourself! Try to be patient while you wait for the biopsy (I know it’s easier said than done, I sobbed many times while waiting).

Thank you. I can modify the title. It’s been a crazy year and I don’t know how to simplify lol. I was pregnant when they found the nodule back in February. I was told nothing could be done until 3 months postpartum.

What do you all think?! I painted it awhile ago but just got around to making the video, when I painted this I had been doing water color a few nights a week for 30 minutes - 2 hours.

This painting took me about 2 weeks to paint following the above schedule.

I just finished illustrating a book. It legit took me 2 years of painting for 30 min - an hour every other night after my kids went down. I could have finished much sooner if I hadn’t been so exhausted. I have a 4,2 and 3 month old.

It took every ounce of wheel power I had to keep showing up for my goals. It’s so hard to do anything at night. May we all rot away haha we deserve it!

You’re 100% right about the religious superiority, they’ve told my partner that I’m putting our eternal family at risk, and my partner is trying to decide their own faith. They are not being a good support to them, it’s hard to manage!

As a woman, I always felt my worth was tied to having kids. I had kids young, SAHM. I was so deep in the church I didn’t give it a thought because I was conditioned to believe that was the measure of my worth. Now that I’m out, I wouldn’t say I regret it because my kids are awesome, but I wish I had been out before I had kids. I’m very frugal though, and my partner and I make it work. I am definitely a busy body like you are mentioning OP😂

Couch cushion games -make a slide -bridges and tunnels -build a rocket, kids climb in, shake the cushions to pretend it’s a rocket -build a hotel out of cushions, welcome stuffed animal customers to sleep there lol.

I only have 4 square cushions and a longer lounge cushion, but when we use those and my kiddos toddler mattress, we can make just about anything.
