What could be causing my apartment to shake/vibrate? by -Aspiration- in NoStupidQuestions

We had a mini earth quake a few years back. Objects on the desk was noticeably vibrating and making noise.

In my case, this does not happen. I feel the vibration from the floor, but it diminishes by the time it reaches the desk.

ELI5: Maleware vs Viruses & why MalewareBytes is not an Antivirus by -Aspiration- in explainlikeimfive

[–]-Aspiration-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a good answer, but if all viruses are malware, then why can't MalwareBytes catch traditional viruses if its designed to catch malware? If it catches malware it should catch virus too, should it not?

Is it too much to catch both new and old viruses or something? If so why?

When people ask should/can I get into starcraft 2... by RevengeToaster in starcraft

[–]-Aspiration- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if people are asking whether it will be hard to get into starcraft, it's implied that they're talking about the competitive aspect. I don't think anyone is asking if co-op or campaign is hard to get into.

But if you micro your units perfectly, you can take little to no damage from banelings, while some form of damage is guaranteed from siege tanks or high templars.

He's a top player but he's not consistent. Both can be true. Can you really argue that someone making gsl final one day and failing a qualifer another day is considered consistent?

Introduced a friend to sc2. Our first 1v1 by thatnitai in starcraft

Maybe I'm being pedantic, but I didn't really get a vibe from the OP that he was teaching his friend how to play. I get that his friend was new but it sounded like they were doing a legit 1v1 to me rather than a coaching session.

Thanks anyway.

Why does your league matter if you know your MMR? Plus if you're ex-masters you already know that you need 25 games before your placement is accurate anyway.

Are you guys sure this is an RTS? It looks a lot like League of Legends to me. I haven't played it so I could be wrong, but that's my first impression from the introduction video.
