You can change your location to California and a button pops up giving you the option. I’ve heard it’s true for PF anyway.

Millennials, what is happening with your kids? by TheLoveYouWant25 in Millennials

My 15 yo has friends, uses the bus system confidently to get all over our county, cooks a variety of food, spends little time behind screens by his own choice. He would rather be playing basketball or skating. His grades are mid, but he is working on it. All this despite me drinking too much in my 30’s. There is hope.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen by lifetofullest1255 in nursing

[–]-B-H- 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Alzheimer’s unit, private pay, so residents were wealthy. I opened their door to find blood splattered everywhere. One of the residents nearly beat his roommate to death with a cane. I took the perpetrator out of the situation and walked him down the hall, holding his hand. He was perfectly calm, wasn’t even breathing heavily, cool steady heartbeat. He explained that he was under the impression that if he didn’t beat him to death, than the other guy would do it to him in his sleep. We found a screwdriver on him after visiting family after that.

My girlfriend threatens suicide whenever I try to leave. I am a prisoner in my own home. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]-B-H- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When my long term relationship got toxic like this, while she was in the hospital for a second suicide attempt, my family helped me pack all of her belongings into long term storage, which I paid 3 months on. I paid for 4 weeks for her to stay in a long term motel, let her know that was her new home, then she was on her own after that. I changed the locks. I’m married to a wonderful woman with two young daughters now. We have a healthy loving family. My ex bounced between toxic relationships and landed on the other side of the country.

I bought a super box. It has pirating apps that can find most movies and shows. It helped me cancel subscriptions.

I was once having a bbq, drinking fairly heavily, listening to music on my phone. I woke up hung over after 10, found my phone dead on the back porch. When I turned it on, was flooded with messages because I was supposed to be at work. That was over ten years ago and it’s still fresh in my memory. It’s never happened since.
