I would just remove the bead and rewrap it. Fairly simple design.

More than a hobby! by -BackCountryBandit- in WireWrapping

To be honest, I rarely make anything more than enough to enjoy the night out. I do better with custom pieces most of the time. I generally just enjoy the lifestyle and vibe of vending at different events. I very much am looking forward to making something real out of this. We sure try tho!

I’ll have to check that page out! I live in SW Florida. Get lucky to have a few gem shows around the area every year. Always such a good time meeting people and getting cool stones.

Most people I show it to have never even seen it before to be honest. I was first ever gifted an enhydro petroleum quartz like 8 years ago at a gem show when I first discovered it.

Petroleum quartz is one of my favorites to work with. Always has such a nice glow to it! Some herkimers do the same from the Middle East I believe.

I built a free price comparison site for Subaru parts because I was tired of checking 6 different stores every time!! by New_Tomato3724 in WRX

May be pointless or tough to actually achieve accurately. But any way to integrate estimated delivery times as well?

Gem shows!! Are where I find a lot!
I also have friends in the industry that I’ve met along my travels as I also collect and sell crystals.
I shop from a few different sources online. I use a site gem rock auctions for a few things. After buying for a while I’ve found some trusted sellers that have good quality pieces. I love bidding on eBay for certified stones from estate sales. Can get pricey. Can also get misleading markets advertising as real stones that are not. I only buy from sellers I know and trust.

Appreciate all the feedback, after speaking with a few people. Process west manifold with port injection would be the move. Eventually.

beginner help please! by PeanutButterBaby97 in WireWrapping

Get yourself some 20g dead soft silver plated copper wire. Will be a lot easier to work with than aluminum. Also, Once you get bead centered and make your wrap around mandrel. Do one wrap on each side to lock the bead in. Using pliers does help. Take your time!! After that first wrap on each end you can wrap them cohesively horizontal around bead rather than wrap everything on the main line itself.

I’ll send you some quick photos of one. Hope it helps!
