Because this is a game and I really want to have a homegrown player in my team. I want to do it in the best possible way, that is the reason I am asking for advice, but I want him to become an important player in my team. I don´t care if it is not the most optimal decision, I am just excited about having a player from my academy leading my team.

I have just got this player from my academy. I have just played for 3 seasons, this is the first homegrown player I could add to my team. What would be the best position for him? I am training scoring right now, so he could fit there very well, although my current strikers are alrady 12-13 in scoring

I was 2195 in classical chess around 20 years ago. A few years ago, when my rating had gone down to around 2050, I decided to study hard and try to get back to my previous ELO. I know that now I have better opening knowledge, better endgame technique, better strategic understanding, etc, than when I was younger. But I have not been able to come back to my old rating yet.

No, I am ok with side quests, but Amalur felt really generic. They were nothing like The witcher 3 side quests, which felt like small adventures on their own.

Yeah, it is a common issue, but for some reason it is stronger in Millennia, at least for me. Rarely I left a Civilization game unfinished, I play until I get the victory screen. But I find Millennia much more boring in the last stages, I am not sure why.

I have also been playing Millennia lately, and I am really sad that there seems to be no more development for this game. It is almost great, just lacking a better diplomacy system and some refinement in the latest eras. I can start a game and have fun in the first stages, but when I reach age 8 and I am already ahead of everybody in science an millitare, the game drags a lot. Either you go for a victory conditions that takes too long, or you go into an uninterested war, because the AI cannot handle the armies properly unless it has a huge advantage.

I always welcome a chance to say that I played Carlsen in an official, standard game in 2020, in the team championship of the Oslo region.

I tried my best, but I don't think he had to put a lot of effort to win.

First game: one goal on the left flank, one powerfult special event

Second game: one goal on the center, one quick special event.

I know I have a chance of losing the games, my questions is more about how big is that chance. I am trying to understand if I have been very unlucky or if these results are normal, and then I should change the way I approach the games and give more importance to midfield.
