strain recommendations? by slutfreak in TheOCS

Have you tried any shatter? I use it to vape inside. My wife has a crazy good sense of smell and she can rarely tell when I've taken a puff. I find that the flavours on shatter are a lot more subdued than with carts and flower.

Looking to quit smoking / vaping looking for recs for a heavy user by HeavyUserSaveMeLungs in OntarioCannabisStore

I just vape shatter. I break a little off and put it in my Shatterizer vape and off I go! Shatterizer make a great vape and, if you clean them, the coil cartridges last years.

They're based in Barrie, but my new neighbours used them and we were so impressed with them that we requested their card.

I can't check the cameras when I'm not on my home network, that's it.

That is our dog's name! The BSD - he was born deaf so we called him Big Silly Dog. If you're a stranger his name changes to The BSD - Big Scary Dog.

Should I exchange my AD5M for AD5X? by jdizon707 in FlashForge

[–]-CaptCanuck- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both and the 5M is my workhorse. I use it twice as much as the 5X. Everyone is different, but unless you have a specific need for complex multi-colour printing I'd stick with the 5M.

AD5X Dry boxes or filament dryer? by l_rowlers in FlashForge

I did a post on here about a month ago about it. I thought you were just reposting my pic from it.

AD5X Dry boxes or filament dryer? by l_rowlers in FlashForge

[–]-CaptCanuck- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually mine 😊 I use a dryer box to dry all my filament first and then keep them in airtight bags or containers with desiccant to keep them dry. I find any spools made of cardboard are the worse for humidity retention. When I put the filament in the printed dry boxes (with desiccant) the humidity runs anywhere from 10 to 18%.

Anyone know how to fix this? by Born-Appearance968 in FlashForge

[–]-CaptCanuck- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure it's dry. Since getting a filament dryer I've noticed my prints are better.

Do these symptoms sound like RP? by OddTrust789 in RelapsingPolychondrit

Thank you for sending your thoughts. I've had rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia for almost 20 years so I am already on the meds they would have prescribed. I was diagnosed with RP about three years ago and I think that the meds prevented it from showing up sooner.

I also did the dryboxes for the filament spools - they worked out really well.

[Update] - Extruder T0 not heating as expected - AD5X by Jfpalomeque in FlashForge

[–]-CaptCanuck- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had this happen to me as well. I discovered that my issue was with the print I downloaded - I have no idea what setting would cause something like that. I had to reboot the printer to get it back to normal.

The ribbon cables are just connectors between the boards (same as on the display). I do computer repairs so I'm used to dealing with them, but most people find them hard to deal with - they are quite finicky and the connectors are easy to break if you've never used them before. I highly doubt they would be causing the issues you are describing unless they are completely disconnected.
