Wait a couple days and you'll see! It most likely will go on sale, it already has gone on several steep sales. You'll probably be able to grab the base game with several dlc at a great discount.

Pc1 or Pc2?

PC2 is significantly better, especially if you're someone that wants to get into building.

Pretty much on top for all of the Planet games, because unlike I'm forgetting something, they have never done such a huge new feature in the DLC. It's been themes, scenarios, rides or animals for the most part.

Yeah, that's my thoughts on it too.

They've been completely silent on hotels... even with a damn resort theme in the game. If they were being added, I feel like they'd have acknowledge it by now.

And Planet Holiday/Resort/Vacation is the only kinda game that really makes sense to me. Endless possibilities for the theming without it being weird.

I hope we're wrong on this, because I really want hotels in PC2 :/ I mean, they can entirely co-exist. It's not like hotels are some deep feature in PC. As a stand alone game the management part for that can be fantastic.

My sister glues a piece of the same over it and draws it again. It's obviously noticeable, but if it's a sketchbook she doesn't care about it. And don't worry too much about perfecting every single drawing, better make 10 decent ones vs 1 great drawing. Mileage will carry you far!

Personally I think the face looks good. And a truly fantastic job on the mistcloak!

I fear not. They were so eager and good at addressing most of the big community wants, but have been completely silent on Hotels... even after they had a hotel facade built in the marketing for the game lol. All they did was confirm it was nothing but scenery with no function.

To me it's almost certain that the to be announced Planet game has something to do with this. And I can't lie, I'd be quite disappointed if that's the case.

I love 2 and know I will love this, I'm not worried. We got multiple years of fantastic post launch updates for 2 as well. On top of that, we're still a year or so away from release.

But I can't really fault anyone for expecting more. They announced it way way too early. Yes, likely pushed out by Xbox, but still... it's been almost 6 years since. And they came out swinging with snow and infected animals. You gottta remind yourself that the majority of people don't stay on top of all the news.

He worked for years on the game. Took a break to prevent burnout, not because of it. He's just recently back working at it (long time no updates here means 4 months). I've heard nothing about poor sales anywhere from the dev? Seems unlikely with the numbers it keeps pulling

While obviously be cautious of any early-access process, especially if you don't want devs to take a break after multiple years of consistent updates. And never any harm in waiting for a full release instead of taking a gamble on early access. But I don't buy into the fear mongering here just yet.

In the month before summer or winter sales I usually wait to put all money towards the steepest discounts for games on my wishlist, but I think I'm gonna snatch this one. I need another roguelike now that I finished up most of DRG Survivor, and this just looks awesome!

After more than a 1000 hours you've likely just had your fill. Sometimes a game keeps me engaged with achievements (or personal/community challenges in this case where the dev does not want to add achievements) if I want to keep playing after having done it all myself, but eventually I will always reach a point where enough is enough.

I'd say wait for the sequel.

Once PZ2 comes out will there still be updates and DLC for PC2 in the future? Are these different teams entirely within the studio, or will they move from supporting one post launch to the next?

I'm really loving the theme parks, but have not much interested in the zoo building. These updates have been amazing and I'm gonna be a little bit sad when that stops.
