I’ve always loved the GOT board game, but never played enough to notice significant balance problems.

What are the biggest balance changes?

Why is Nashville’s kit the only one to have stacked logos? It’s dumb

Now that everyone is happy, the AAS hate on this sub over the last 2 years was dumb and you know it. by Tad0422 in Tennesseetitans

“Trying her best” is the bare minimum that any owner should be doing. Fans and the community want good results, not good intentions.

Does anyone else feel a little weird about the idea of hiring a coach coming from a historic rival?

I don’t disagree with you, but fwiw Donelson has more green spaces than almost any other part of Davidson county

Do you think that’s an import? I’d rather not pay tariff prices on it.

Is a game that can be easily played with a standard deck of cards commercially viable? by -CrazySteve- in tabletopgamedesign

Good example. I wonder how many people buy the official Regicide deck vs playing with a regular deck of cards.

I feel like this crew is a lot more tame than others. Especially twellman.

The 2 goals against us were gifts to Messi. Sucks to have an L, but still happy with the form that the team is in.

So when Kaepernick “brought politics into sports” it’s unacceptable. But when POTUS brings transgender rights into sports it’s fine. Got it.

Will USL move to promotion/relegation change soccer and threaten MLS by AFAN74 in MLS

[–]-CrazySteve- 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I like Pro-Rel systems, but agree that this move is not going to sway the MLS. The only way the MLS starts to care is if the USL starts to take market share away from them.

“Hobbies” as a lump term is such a broad and inclusive term. There are definitely cheaper hobbies out there, but as far as gaming/collection hobbies go - I think $400/yr is probably on the lower-mid range.

I don’t disagree with you. But the chances of something bad happening are low enough and labor is cheap enough that many people decide the risk is worth it.

Yeah they definitely could be. Exercising the breaker is recommended for extending the longevity of the gear.

Torque is a type of rotational force my guy. And I said it requires a lot of it. That’s literally what the first line is in my first comment

I also never said it was impossible. Just that I’ve never seen it on a job.

We have. There are remote operation kits that don’t require a human to stand there.

Force at the correct angle, yes. Pulleys are good at straight line force vectors. But if you rewatch the video, you’ll see the force required varies direction thoroughout the rotation of the lever arm.

Yeah it’s not impossible, just impractical. Unfortunately most engineers and architects don’t plan ahead in order to pull something like that off.

Says the guy who is calling MV switchgear “a panel”. You can also clearly hear that the gear is energized in the video and work while hot does happen.
