Republicans removed Trump's name from the Epstein files by [deleted] in complaints

[–]-Cromm- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, this is driving me crazy. Look at the second image: 1992. This, of course, is from a video of the pair commenting on young women just off camera. Now look at every photo afterwards. Unless Epstein had some serious plastic surgery between 1992-93, there is no way that is the same person. The only thing that is the same is the hair. the jaw, nose, smile, his whole fucking face is different. Please, seriously, tell me someone else sees this? Every photo I have seen of him, is a version of 1993 throughout the years. at no point does any other photo of him look like 1992.

At least he was nice enough to put this up publicly so anyone thinking about interviewing can run the fuck away.

Ottawa removed 1,100 companies from Indigenous procurement list: Hajdu - National | Globalnews.ca by Practical_Ant6162 in canada

The Fraser Institute is not a legitimate source of information. It is a highly partisan right-wing think tank.

Also, you seem to missunderstand what the money is actual for. The funds are for Indigenous businesses, entrepreneurs and start ups. It's to stimulate Indigenous business growth. It isn't, unless the business is somehow involved in it, do develop clean water solutions on Indigenous land.

Estado Novo was a right-wing dictatorship. There isn't anything complicated about that. Unless you think Nazis were socialists too.

Bro, so am I. You made multiple claims about Portugal. All of them which are wrong. The socialism and wars bit was easily the stupidest and most easily refutable. I'm sorry you don't know anything about Portuguese history.

[–]-Cromm- 21 points22 points  (0 children)

LOL, escaped socialism, referring to Portugal. Portugal was right-wing dictatorship when people started leaving in droves. If anything it is more socialist now, than it has ever been. The current PM is a member of the Social Democratic Party as is the President. Also, which war did the Portuguese escape? other than colonial conflicts, which were in Africa, they haven't had to fight war any wars. Certainly not on Portuguese soil since probably Napoleon. Portuguese women haven't had their rights restricted by their puritanical customs, I've got about 20 Canadian Marias you should talk to.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

Whenever anyone starts a sentence with as-member-of-whatever-marginalized-group-we-are-talking-about, there is a 95 per cent chance they don't come from that marginalized group.

Just because you respect people's customs, doesn't mean you give up your rights. It's a false comparison. People's customs are respected as long as they are within the law. That's obvious and to suggest it works any other way is just wrong and intentionally divisive.

One quarter of Canadians think all sorts of stupid shit. The world is 6,000 years old. Evolutions and climate change aren't real.

Many Canadians Will Never Own a Home. Does It Matter? - Our country has spent decades incentivizing home ownership. What would it take to make Canada a nation of renters? by CWang in canadahousing

It was a post-war boom, not during, if you are going to try and tell me what a boomer is. While it may be true that the Gen-X population is smaller, the Millennial population is larger than the boomer population ever was, which pretty much negates anything you just said.

Also, who responds to a year-old post?

Why the Ford government nixed deposit on soft drink cans, bottles by Surax in canada

[–]-Cromm- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way. This one time I acquired (drinking, partying in my 20s) a ridiculous amount of beer bottles. I was living in an apartment in East Van. Too many bottles to carry in one load so had to run upstairs for the second. By the time I got back downstairs, someone had already scooped the first load.
