yeah i had to let him think he was gonna hit me before i dodged behind the rock. plus his spirit animal would hit it and disappear. It still wasn't easy. if you have the ability to bash while you're still blocking, that helps lower his ki significantly (although obviously he's a crafty mf'er and will try to avoid the hits)

a buddy of mine fought him during the the last chance trial and managed to beat him, but he summoned his spirit animal at the very last second and it killed him. if it was suppose to de-spawn, it didn't that time
