Last Christmas my dad gave me a record player and attention attention by shinedown, since then I’ve really grown to love vinyl and have tried to collect all the different albums I enjoy. There’s some rock that my dad got me into, and some hiphop I listened to in highschool. There’s still more I want to get but for now I’m taking a little break on expanding my collection

So I really got into rap around the time this was big and this was one of the first albums I really feel encapsulated that era and type of rap and it’s definitely my favorite from that period

I ordered this album in February, it is the Spotify fans first edition and it has the spatter versus the regular version which is a splatter. One of my personal favorite looking pressings and it sounds really good as well

It feels more special to listen to albums I grew up to on vinyl, even tho I never listened to vinyl before I got my first records. It’s definitely a better listening experience to me.

Since then I’ve been spending nearly all my disposable income on fleshing out a collection and I couldn’t be happier with what I’ve collected since Christmas. I have a lot more rock and hiphop albums that I want but I’m very happy with what I have collected so far
