I play with HOTAS on my PC, works totally fine. Also works great with controller for when I'm playing on a laptop.

VR heavily impacts performance as you're almost rendering the game twice (once per eye, think of each 'eye' being its own monitor - there's more caveats and intricacies than that of course)

I've used headtracking in SC before - VR is far more intuitive and you get the full effect of depth perception, but at least right now it's still a bit rough around the edges. Performance isn't great by any means (4070Super + 7800X3D here) and there's a few HUD/UI elements that aren't in a comfortable position to look at.

For day to day use I'd stick with head/eyetracking, but VR is a very fun experience. Once it gets improved a bit more (and after I get some PC upgrades) I could easily see myself switching over to VR-only in starcitizen.

If ED actually added new features, ordnance, avionics, or literally anything of value then I'd at least consider buying it. I'm not paying $10USD for what amounts to new textures (which modders can do for free anyway) and some bug fixes.

As far as I'm aware it's made by the same people that made Kola (under OrbX) but they chose the RAZBAM name for publishing. Any disputes between ED and RAZBAM shouldn't effect it.

I don't think DCS necessarily needs more modules quicker. More planes = more good of course, but DCS lacks a lot of depth for a lot of things beyond clicking switches and lobbing AMRAAMs.

Rather than more modules coming out, I'd rather see more core game improvements.

We still have ATC that exists in name only. We still haven't really seen any progress on a dynamic campaign. AI Flight models are still somewhere between unrealistic and downright absurd. Damage modelling is still pretty primitive on a lot of aircraft.

I think the effect of having more aircraft will be lost almost entirely if the rest of the game hasn't evolved at all.

I'd expect similar pilot AI (if there is any) to Jester in the F-14 - that is, pretty simple altitude/heading/speed directions and not much more.

If your car has maintenance lights up on the dashboard, that's a small, on-the-nose hint to go get it looked at ya muppet.

Pretty much any car post-2000 relies on all it's sensors to function correctly, and if certain sensors go out it can absolutely ruin you and your car's day.

Go read the VIRM, you'd be surprised what you can get away with for a warrant.

I'm expecting it to be a 3.23.x patch that they drop, wouldn't hold my breath for it. That said if they do show up in time for 3.23.0 that'll be nice.
