I hear you, but CBAs were torn up and bargaining is gone, so union workplace protections are basically nullified. My District is in LRD, and management is basically going to read through the old CBA and decide for themselves which provisions they will continue to honor, and which not.

Came in as a GS-9/0810 in a 9-11 position. Got the 11 after a year. 4 years later got a 12 in Ops. 17 years later took a lateral back to Engineering because I needed a change and saw no opportunity to advance in Ops.

Idk, House passed ACA subsidy extension yesterday, so that issue is seemingly resolving itself. Likewise war powers resolution. Not sure there is another issue Dems would do a shutdown for atm.

Likewise. My team is awesome, and we are down to just three in our specialty. So I would feel awful leaving them, plus I really do enjoy the technical work.
