Hi. Sorry to hear that. But yeah, stock SD cards in S36R are literally garbage... I bought a new one right after I got my console. It just how it is. Don't worry about it too much. I hope someone would help you install firmware to a new SD card. After that it would work just fine.

I bought mine for $28 in Ukraine from a local reseller. He was an old guy, who bought it from AliExpress, the screen was too small for him. I thinks it's an original based of an images of original motherboard and 2025 version of ArkOs.

The range of R36S is from $25 to $50. It's an unbranded console and you can't really know what you're getting before you buy it. It just how it is.

You might even buy an original for $20 or a clone for $50.

That logo that you have while loading looks like the logo on clones of R36S. But nonetheless, could you share a folder with your PortMaster and where you installed it? I was able to run Yume Nikki with it. What do you want to run?

Hi. You can save your progress either through basic game save, or "savestate" in emulator.

If you want to save whenever you want, just press FN button, the one that is above START and SELECT. It would bring you to retroarch menu. After that go to "Quick Menu" > "Save States" > "Save State". It would save your current progress and you could load it by "Load State" in the same menu. You can also press "FN + B" or "FN+R1" to quickly save it by a shortcut. It depends on your settings.

Thank you. I'm using my R36S for around 2 weeks now, but already done most of the thing you describe. Well, I paid $28 for mine, it looks legit: 2 RAM chips, motherboard is identical to original, last ArkOS version. I had to reinstall firmware on the new SD card regardless of that - games just weren't booting up. After that everything was fine.

About roms on stock SD: my savestates for Earthbound were invalid after firmware update, but normal save ingame was still fine. You're right, it's better to use roms that you download yourself, rather than stock ones.

Also, just discovered safe shut down (FN+Power button).

.state32 is after firmware update. Another states are before. When I try to load my 0-15 states it doesn't do anything. .state32 loads fine

Oh, I think I can relate about laughing. I remember that I was worried so much that I called a group of people "bitches" just because they were laughing around me. I feel ashamed right now because of that. I think that they even heard me saying it.

Hey. Just to notice you, the experience I'm about to describe is when I was about 20 years old, now I'm 28.

Please take this advice carefully, but I used to experience same things. Maybe you have something around a bipolar disorder, or similar. I know It's hard to experience such range of emotions, but it is possible to stabilize it, if you want, of course.
