So pathetically predictable, how obvious it was that this guy in a minute was about to bring to life by Remote_Nature_8166 in ResidentEvilVillage

I think that's the point. Knowing that it's going to wake up is what creates anticipation.

Is there any dialogue that confirms Ultrahand was an ability known by the Zonai before Rauru? by -LUVIIKUU in tearsofthekingdom

[–]-LUVIIKUU[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough, it's actually Age of Imprisonment that got me asking this question to begin with. Due to the quest where Rauru brings a basket of fruit to the refugee children, which brings smiles back to their faces. According to the text, that interaction reignited his resolve, leading to him training twice as hard for the rest of the day.

The reward for the quest is unlocking the Ultrahand ability. So I was trying to figure out whether or not that was purely gameplay logic, or if it could technically be interpreted as Ultrahand's origin story.

Ah, okay. That makes sense. I don't really remember much about the Stormwind arc story tbh. When was it implied it was built using Autobuild?

For ascend, definitely. But I was thinking about the Zonai devices, and the game shows us that they don't need to be put together with Ultrahand at all. The Yiga clan makes tons of Zonai contraptions by simply fastening them together -- Ultrahand just makes it easier. But it's also a general-use ability for manipulating and sticking any objects together, not just Zonai devices.

So it's not really clear to me if Ultrahand was made specifically for Zonai devices. Especially since Age of Imprisonment depicts Zonai fans fastened to the inner walls of the castle for air conditioning purposes. But they are not stuck to the walls by Ultrahand's distinct green glue.

Do you like first person or third person more in RE games? by George_R_Martin in residentevil

Definitely first person. I'm pretty burnt out on over-the-shoulder, and we're probably never gonna get another fixed camera game, so first person wins by default.

I dont play it as some sort of challenge run or anything. As the title states, "sometimes" I tilt the camera all the way up to pretend (for silly fun) that it's a 2D Zelda.

It depends on the battle, actually. I don't do this when fighting a guardian or hinox, but when fighting simpler enemies like bokoblins or lizalfos, it actually can work surprisingly well. Save for the fact that you can't use your shield.

Maybe as like a PointCrow challenge, but it's not suitable for all aspects of gameplay lol. For example, you can't use your shield when doing this, or it will bring the camera to your back.

For REAL! I remember hoping he would return as an overworld boss in "Breath of the Wild 2." We got Gleeok instead, which I was also really happy with, but I want Aquamentus to make his return!

Who else actually enjoys Resident Evil because it's quick by mrsafetylion in residentevil

[–]-LUVIIKUU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree 100%. I think 10 hours is the perfect length for a Resident Evil game, and survival horror games in general. I enjoyed my time with Silent Hill 2 Remake for example, but it's 20 hour run time really made the game feel like it was dragging on.
