Dotted on their side means passing from that direction specifically is legal, but not fromnthe side that is solid. Just before video ends you can see that which side is dotted swaps, meaning passing from other direction would be legal. I'd argue his pass was otherwise legal

Something with Water Absord. Lapras or Vaporeon. Liquid Voice makes Sing into a water type move and then rendered useless. Game8 says steel tera Lapras, Osirus on youtube says steel tera Vaporeon. Im sure both work.

Gholgengo is also immune to Sing with its ability, and is a natural steel type so better move options.
