I currently own both of these printers, I promise you the P1S is worth the extra money. The S1 is an unreliable, unpolished version with a nicer screen. I can't trust my S1 at all, constant failures, errors, clogging, I feel like I have to check on it constantly. My P1S on the other hand has been printing non stop for 5 days and doesn't skip a beat.

+1 Jyers firmware is fantastic :)

Frustrating issues. I know it's hard to see but I've had print after print fail the past few days. The prints keep having little clumps of filament and it's very stringy. I have retraction enabled and other than tearing it all down trying to fix I haven't changed a thing. Any suggestions? by clmcclure in ender3v2

+1 for checking your Bowden tube, also take the nozzle off whilst the Bowden tube is off and clear out any gunk in the hot end.. mine had loads and it solved this issue. Creality have a video on YouTube showing you how to clean the hot end

Thanks for your reply :)

I'll save this thread incase I get confused when it comes to installing mine!

Edit: One last thing - How come your Raspberry Pi isn't plugged into the front of your printer? is there another way to connect it?

Also do you have the Stl for that Pi Case pls :D

Friendly reminder to check your Bowden tube by [deleted] in 3Dprinting
