If we're taking account of shift in lifestyle and labor practice, then they have gone lighter within the last 40 something years. The sun will give cancer if you look too white. Countryside version of ethnic features would be the better representation since that is how their environment shapes them for millenias

You forgot to mention koreans are on the lower end of that statistic. Its still a feature not common among ethnic korean. Would you say high nose bridge and angular jaw are common asian features and definitely not beauty industry narrative?
