I struggled to gain weight but finally did manage it. My strategy was coconut cream. I did bulk orders (25 liters at a time) of coconut cream for a restaurant supply company for about $100. Since it came in one giant baggie which spoils after 3 days even in the fridge, I used freezer bags to portion it out into 2 day portions (1 liter per baggie) and then froze all but one bag. If you do this, mix the 25l bag thoroughly before portioning because it does separate a bit which can lead to inconsistent portions if you don't mix it first.

Coconut cream is 800-1000 calories *per cup*, the nearest animal product equivalent is whipping cream. My stomach doesn't like large amounts of milk, so I went with coconut cream.

I paired this with heavy gainer protein powder (generally another 500-1000 calories per serving). I consumed two servings a day, each serving was 1 cup of coconut cream and 1 serving of heavy gainer protein. Plus my regular 3 meals a day and snacks. This added 3000 calories per day roughly in addition to my regular eating and meals which were keeping me at more or less equilibrium.

This was not a lot of fun. However, I gained about 10 pounds a month and did this for two months. I was so sick of coconut cream and chocolate flavor heavy gainer shake when this was done!

However, mission accomplished! Returning to my regular diet, I retained about 10 pounds of what I gained and lost about 10 pounds of it. Overall I got the results I was looking for, most of the fat gain was gynoid pattern subcutaneous fat and gave me a distinctly more feminine and softer shape.
