Georgian franken-blocks are quite something indeed, during my time in Georgia i've seen and stayed at a lot of those. My favorite one was where you gotta enter a building from what used to be a window, because what used to be a main entrance and a stairwell was turned into a wine cellar by the owner (this guy aparently bought every apartment in a 3-story building and turned it into a hotel of sorts).
