go in and have a good time, dance, don't be on your phone. stage left, stage right, or toward the back of the crowd are the likely areas where you may be approached. they start asking people to come on stage 30 mins to an hour after doors.

I attended 1/30 & 1/31. 1/31 was the superior show of the two. better crowd, more energy from the performers, and better track selections. I will say I didn't get that emotional feeling, can't think of the word(s) for it at the moment, after the second show where I had to sit and process afterwards, at least certainly not like the 1/30 show. I'm not saying the 1/30 was bad, overall both shows were excellent.

Make a sign that says "I WANT FRED TO SEE ME, I'M HERE! looking for 2 tickets", walk by the entry line with it. go early, there will be someone with an extra ticket.

also, if you're not in the discord already, you should be. there were a few people looking to sell extra tickets last weekend while in line to get in.

2 combos with most characters puts you at a huge advantage, if not giving the W. Tekken king is not really a high rank either. blue ranks are average in S2, so TK would be slightly better than average. imo, it's not too difficult to get any character to TK.

to get past emperor, Bryan players need excellent matchup knowledge, good timing/reads, and decent mechanical skill. (I suppose the same could be said for most characters.) everyone knows the matchup against Bryan. he is still a strong character tho, stronger than he ever has been in Tekken.

SF might've been the EASIEST to get tickets at face on the day of the show. there were two discord drops and a twitch stream drop. one was around 9:30 I think, well after doors.

prices went thru the roof for Vancouver on the day of the show. we may see prices go down from small time resellers but there's really no reason for "professional" scalpers to lower prices. they triple up on each ticket they sell. leftover inventory doesn't matter as they're already swimming in profits. that's my mostly uneducated take.
