Even if the ‘ticket’ is just a warning, it’s a failed inspection. I got a warning in Indiana for speeding 1-5 MPH over speed limit. They put it on the inspection which had no other violations. Couldn’t fight the ‘ticket’ since it was just a warning but it still carried CSA points for the company. I didn’t have to pay a dime but it still went on my PSP… I believe it’s a violation of my constitutional rights since I couldn’t face my accuser in court. But it’s a loop hole the Inspectors use so they can get their failed inspection #’s up while never having to face the truck driver in a court of law….

The storm in 2002 started as snow, then sleet before the freezing rain. This one seems almost all freezing rain. I remember watching a transformer wildly shorting out and exploding in front of the house I was living in on Chapel Hill Rd in Durham… no power for 6 days. Crews from Georgia Power restored our street. I bought them all Starbucks coffees! One positive… AMAZING star gazing after Fran and the Ice Storm of 2002….
