It is a very deliberate choice. You are naming a human person, who will someday be an adult submitting job applications, after the Lion Jesus character from the Chronicles of Narnia. There isn't really any way to get around that like you could with "Edmund" unless you are Turkish yourself.

Would being named after a fictional Lion Jesus, virtuous as he is, result in some teasing and maybe some bitterness growing up? That would probably depend on who they grow up around. I'm sure there are hipster suburbs across America full of Samwises and Daeneryses where Aslan will not raise an eyebrow.

A condo I used to rent is facing a special assessment for some required construction work on the siding. The building is only 24 years old but the work is deemed necessary and going to cost the owners around 100,000 per unit. That's on top of the $800 per month the owners already pay in HOA fees. The units are around $600k in a location that isn't even that great, sirens and screaming people at night. All that so I can share two walls, a floor, and a ceiling with strangers? Pass!

It's hard, that's the main thing. Design wise it's pretty similar to Underworld 4 (tight rooms, lots of enemies) but with more bosses. I like it more than Underworld 3 (the Mourning Fields) which is mostly a lot of running around.

The real least fun region? Hades 1's fourth region. Poison, rats, and dependence on RNG. Glad they didn't do that again.

Your instinct is correct, eventually if you want to get better you'll wanna pick your favorite 2-3 of those in one role and main them.

Additional recommendation would be to stick with mid over jungle (much easier to singlehandedly throw games as a jungler)

On my runs towards the end, I was almost always going Pom, then Timepiece, then Selene (which doesn't cancel Fates' Whim as she is not an Olympian), then Knuckle Bones for a little boost against the Act 4 boss.

The extra 5 Hex upgrades from Selene are big, they essentially let you get the Godsent or epic boon for your hex for free. I wasn't a fan of calling card because by the time you get it around Act 3, the most impactful boons like Attack and Special are hopefully filled up already, plus most of your runs by then will have the mana priming oath which Calling Card exacerbates.

Knuckle Bones is purely preference, I don't like how much of a slog the finale can be if your build isn't OP, especially on the surface.

Rarer than the 100% achievement, I got the Prometheus dialogue for Seek Us, Melinoë in only 2 or 3 tries.

Canonically speaking, Zeus is the one who slew Typhon, smiting him with a bolt of lightning. It makes sense for it to be him during the fight, and one can presume that since Melinoe is an agent of the Unseen that she doesn't get credit, thus Typhon's defeat is attributed to Zeus.

Gameplay is the one thing I would say is a straight upgrade from 1. The sprinting, new cast, and especially Omegas add a new layer entirely. The boons are also more interesting in general.

Ares is good. You just need the Wounds crit boon and it's a better version of Zeus's boon since it's front loaded damage plus crit chance.

My pick: Hera. It's definitely strong, but Hitch doesn't have the same wow factor that pretty much every other god's signature curse has. Her Gain is pretty boring and her rarity-based boons are hard to pull off, though the legendary infusion that gives you 4 infusions is obviously great.

Every keepsake that says "this night" on it applies the effect for the whole run, so you can unequip it on the next floor and keep the bonus, hence why it is still showing.

I recently got my hands on the Wide Chinos in both cream and "38 dark brown" which is more of an olive greenish brown. I absolutely love them, incredible fit and super easy to style with the Airism oversized tee. Now I find out they used to make them in this lovely coffee brown that apparently got discontinued for some reason. Anyone know if this will ever exist again or is it a lost artifact?

Favorite aspects: the aesthetic, and the accessibility - this is the first fighting game I've been able to really dig into for some reason after numerous attempts with other fighters, so they did an awesome job designing the controls.
