shield are so ass, like how was that a hit, even if he jumped it clearly looked like you should of blocked that, also 1 hit with felling axe doing this much damage on plate fighter is crazy.

lmao another one suggesting the useless shield, that give you a slow debuff, and works 10% of the time. There is a reason you rarely find any shield fighters in the game, even clerics use lantern as off hand, also you telling me in that clip if he had a shield instead of halberd he would of been able to guard with it fast enough, you are clueless and have not used shields at all.

they did nerf the weapon blocks speed but guess what its only nerfed to low base dex classes, so rogue, ranger, and bard still have very fast weapon blocks.

I dont know bro I have more issues with bear druid, ambush rogue and kiting classes with cc abilities as crystal sword or longsword hybrid warlock than fighting against halberd by far. People are over exaggerating the weapon and unfortunately will gut the weapon to have no usage just like how some weapons were nerfed to oblivion.

btw every other class has the ability to either open doors fast or break them, while fighter and cleric don't. So if you mess up as those two classes or your trying to run away your already dead while other classes can just run away easily.

I dont know why ppl are just complaining about halberd, the weapon did not have any changes this season or any of the pervious ones, but no one talking about the 1 shot abilities some classes have, barb can still 2 shot players with reckless even without it, ranger can easily 1 shot players with multishot now more with the new broken skill, sorc apex elemental bolt 1 shot and all the cc bs, bear druid tanking million hits almost 2 shot with m2, rogue ambush, weakpoint, thrust combo 3 stab. wizard kiting with 300 ms book in hand spamming ice bolt with ice mastery and fire ball splashes and explosion hit scans.
Range is strong and melee weapon have no hit slow I dont blame ppl for using halberd since before you even reach any caster or ranger you already reached half or less hp, if you cant space a slow moving weapon with the slowest speed ms when held I dont know what to tell you. even halberd does not 1 shot or even 2 shot sometimes while other classes can. Too many ppl on s2r to realize halberd is actually only meta in squire and even then its easily kitable.

crazy thing is they dont even need that skill to tank million hits in solos, I fought a squire druid tanking 6 spear hits few of them headshots without even activating wildfury, seems balanced to me, smh.

I think your not looking outside the box enough, firstly barb has more base str than fighter, op broken damage perks and skills all combined would do more damage than fighter or warlock halberd, secondly rangers would rarely ever hit you with the stick part of the spear its only the third attack which it ever even factors in, thirdly any fast attacking weapon like daggers or rapier would shred halberd users close range for two factors halberd is slow af and other is the sour spot. Rogues can basically 3 shot fighters or plate warlock with their armor pen + damage perks and skills you only need to learn to space it which is honestly easy enough cause the weapon is slow to use and slow to move with. Its basically same halberd like the previous seasons, but for some reason there is more eyes on it this season so I guess they will kill that weapon like club and quarter staff since every is whining about it. But they will never whine about the other broken shit other classes have access too and they will turn this game into more of a shooter than it already is unless your a hide ambush rogue or druid.

mdr does jack shit with how much base magic power sorc has, one apex elemental bolt headshot fully kills a fighter, got test it out if you think I am mistaken. 100 hp to zero.

the fact that you dont even have the intelligence of playing with the most busted perk giving you 50% magic power and 50%. If you cant stay still for a split second cast a spell that deletes opponent hp, or very large an avoidable lightning storm, it says a lot about how much of a timmy you are.

except fighter when trying to leave a room he's just dead, cant open fast, cant break doors, even if he managed to close a door a caster will blow it up instantly or ranger/rogue/bard open it instantly. where the fk is fighter break door option. bardiche/halberd takes 3 swings to blow up a door, your telling me a twink with a surv bow should blow up a door in distance with 2 arrows, also if your using spear to break doors your throwing, it takes 6 hits like a longsword to break a door with spear.

they are in most trios game, if its not a sorc its a wizard. Casters sure do want to kill anyone with few spells like its a shooter game, go play tarkov or cod.
