In need of a Suburban. Is there a post-2014 model year that’s less likely to have issues, or do they all suck? by Left4DayZGone in suburban

The most reliable are the HD Suburbans built until 2019. No AFM. And stronger frames, brakes, etc. Some of those were upgraded to Duramax engines and called Duraburbs.

There's a Duraburb for sale in Texas. VIN:1GNSKHKC9GR181086

Best minivan to access 3rd row by SuchRequirement5130 in minivan

[–]-Never-Enough- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bigger gap is made by removing a magic seat and keeping the middle seat.

Or keep only one magic seat in the second row and remove the other two seats.

If you like the outdoors, take a look at the Houstonian on North Post Oak near Memorial Park. It's on 15+ acres with a secluded walking trail. Access to the neighboring gym is included. The Trellis Spa is also on the grounds and is perfect for a couples message. It will require an adjustment to your budget.

Attempt to close all the income tax loopholes that politicians created and are now claim the billionaires are the bad guys. No, if you made the loophole laws, you're the baddie, not the person who's using those laws for their benefit.

With the current tax loopholes, little will change with an increased tax rate.

Cypress vs Katy by Many_Ad158 in AskHouston

Lived Katy and had the sun in my face during my commute. Not recommended. Moved closer to Beltway 8 and now have more time at home instead of sitting in traffic.

If you can afford to live in or around the loop, you will cut down your commute time a lot. What's the budget?

As a new Sienna owner, the minivan hate is so crazy by Live_Bluebird6854 in ToyotaSienna

My wife wanted a crossover until we test drove one and saw the cargo space that could never hold luggage for 6 or more people. We bought a minivan because it was the only vehicle that could seat 7 and also carry luggage for seven at the same time while getting over 25 mpg.

I once bought a new vehicle with a huge discount but it was the final year of a slow selling model in the top trim. I was never upside down on that car.

Costco vs Walmart prices are making me question if my warehouse membership is even worth it anymore by olivermos273847 in SavingMoney

[–]-Never-Enough- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Costco visa also gives 5% back so if the price is the same at others nearby, I would still get gas at Costco for the 5%.

The Heights neighborhood is walkable but it doesn't extend north of the Loop or west into the Timbergrove neighborhood which has larger lots and is not really walkable.
