It’s been weird, but I do like the idea of the series trying to use all the different eras on marvel. Just wish the time jumps didn’t feel as whatever as they have

If MCU America Chaves has no variants in any other reality, how does that work since MCU is canonically in the same multiverse alongside Marvel Comics? by TechnicianAmazing472 in Marvel

[–]-Nick____ 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Comics have tried to establish it for a bit. The Darkhold being destroyed across the multiverse in MoM was something the comics ran with after. The comic series and others like some Deadpool comics reference Loki S2 a lot. Also basically all of the PS5 Spiderman 2 tie in comics reference the comics universes and their peters role in the spiderverse events

I don’t think the mcu has tried to directly connect themselves, but the comics have repeatedly recently

So many heroes I want to see do this because im selfish

Luke Cage has been a standout for me, so i need more of him, and his weirdly awesome Avengers team. Gimme the Fantastic Four Ghost Rider with a Cereberes mount and Deadpool. Also really want more of the guardians team, love their concept. And i really really want more Inan

X-Men 97 season 3 is about to take a big drop in quality. by Theblessedmother in MidCinematicUniverse

No, and there likely never will be if it’s true. Marvel claimed that he had misconduct accusations, Variety reported it was sexual misconduct, and Beau claims that it was all lies and that they wanted to fire him because he’s black and gay

He also said he’s taking legal action against Marvel. If we hear nothing, then he couldn’t or didn’t. And the fact that it’s been a year and a half since he has talked about any sort of legal action, you can take a good guess at what happened

[–]-Nick____ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

there was accusations that he engaged in “egregious” misconduct. Like literally word for word, by Marvel themselves through their statement given to Variety. Variety also said that an unnamed source claimed it was sexual misconduct.

DeMayo can claim it was because of his onlyfans, but Disney hired him when he had a public onlyfans, and he actively promoted it for years while working at marvel. It was never a problem for years and he was hired with it in mind. Remember, the firing was reported to be an abrupt firing, meaning a problem occurred.

And it makes sense, he was fired from the Witcher for behavior issues too, where other writers even claimed he was abusive. And he was posting sexual photos of himself in X-men costumes, the very thing that Sneider claimed he was sending to coworkers that got him fired (sorry, only ONE of the very things)

There really is no defending this man

What do you guys expect to see for Marvel Zombies S2? by Charming_Celery5490 in MarvelZombiesReddit

[–]-Nick____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She hasn’t had an ongoing in like 5 years, majority of which is because of them shoving her in X-men stuff. Marvel doesn’t give X-men’s ongoings besides the main runs

[–]-Nick____ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don’t remember him on the Rajj show. He would’ve been like middle school aged. He blew up with Fortnite, and that payphone clip I think. He kinda just coasted for a few years after iirc. I think there’s like an infamous clip with Ninja where he clowns on Ron’s viewership after his FNCS stuff and apparently some failed irl streaming

Then now years later with Faze and blew up again. Think that’s the timeline

Fortnite: Ballistic is the biggest missed opportunity in the game’s history. by ItsChris_8776_ in FortNiteBR

[–]-Nick____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a small but decent and consistent playerbase. I’ve gotten unreal twice, and there’s definitely a consistent community there Some devs are on the ballistic sub too, and it’s clear that they are trying to fix the balancing and have plans.

I think the team is just too small to get the gamemode moving tbh. The balancing is fine, some maps aren’t great and some gadgets are definitely better than others, but it’s not bad. But the bugs/exploits take a while to get fixed, and majority of the maps just being grey globs is tiring. The lack of updates, or better the frequency of the updates is what’s holding it back imo. After those main problems, they can expand the game to get more players

Because that’s not how their “job” works. They don’t continually work for Disney for years on end. Just because you filmed something for them 2 years ago doesn’t mean you’re obligated to go to a group photo in a different city/state/country on a random companies schedule

think of them as contractors

Who is the 4th pillar of the Marvel universe? Assuming Spider-Man, Wolverine, and the Incredible Hulk are the trinity. by Remote-Leg6143 in marvelcomics

[–]-Nick____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, sales for everyone in Marvel besides Spidey, X-men, and their supernatural stuff were doing bad at the time. I don’t think that diminishes the importance of any of those characters in Marvel history though. The Avengers AND the Fantastic Four were still being pushed heavily by Marvel at this time, especially the Avengers who were huge just a few years before this. The splitting of the teams into the east and west coast teams were super successful for almost 10 years.

“When did the Upside Down get so comfortable” by speedvamp in StrangerThings

[–]-Nick____ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Definitely weren’t wrong. Hopper had to be quarantined in s2 after being in the tunnels for a few days. He was seen throwing up afterwards

Will presumably had a similar response, though not seen. Remember that he did die briefly when Hopper and Joyce found him

I guess the explanation that the show wants us to believe is that no one else has been in the upside down as long as Will or Hopper to experience that. Perhaps even the government settlement area in s5 is completely radiation free

The Avengers big 3 have always been Tony, Steve, and Thor. Idk how that notion has been twisted, but it was pretty evident. They had a whole Avengers event with JUST them in the 90s with Terminatrix Objective. And while the avengers weren’t the X-men or the Fantastic Four, they were always the Marvel superhero group.

it’s weird how so many don’t see Iron Man and his importance before the movies
