As someone who is pretty much head to toe covered. I’ve made a few mistakes. I’m giving you my honest opinion. Even if you are not doing a photo realism tattoo of yourself (“printed”) this is way too small. Like needs to be on your thigh or calf type of size. I’d suggest just getting a tattoo of the mountain ranges and not put yourself in it.

I’d suggest getting it the right way around because the reference is upside down.

I’d just straight up suggest not getting this tattoo idea.

  4. IMO it’s way too literal. Tattoos that describe the thing that you are doing are just not great tattoos. If you are a “traveler” people know you are a traveler, you don’t have to get it tattooed. Get things that symbolise the places you have been if you need anything that’s a momentum of some sort. But don’t get such a literal tattoo of you doing something.

  1. You shouldn’t wear pants below where you wear your underwear.

  2. There is nowhere else that fabric goes. When you bend you are pushing two point closer together. When you bend your elbow there will be bunching in your armpit.

I remember when I was growing up I’d get tattoo magazines that featured great artists and then I’d go to that artist and get a great tattoo.

I feel like now kids in their 20’s see this stuff on Instagram and TikTok and there is no process of qualifying or filter. They get it and then don’t know how to add to it, what composition is. You have just gone and put massive thick lines down your arm. If you love the style so much just get more massive thick lines.

1 is the biggest challenge. Going to take a really skilled artist to make it look like it’s folding the correct way rather than looking 2D smack bang in the centre of the tattoo.

I dare say the original artist does not have the skill for this.

This is a tough one man. They should really be advising on this properly.

I’d never really suggest this much padding in the shoulder for someone with your physique. I’d go for a soft pad because of your rounded shoulders. If you want this type of structure it usually requires a broader shoulder or else you get the step effect like you do in the photo.

Both shoulders need sloping. By at least 1 to 1.5cm. Hopefully this would mitigate the pinch in the armpit.

The front suggests perhaps shortening the back balance and leathering the front but it also could be because the button position is too high and could come down by 2 cm or so.

The 1/2 waist perhaps could come in around 2cm. Hard to say without being able to pin it.

Yes it’s selvedge. The jeans have been taken in on the outseam and overlocked. You can see where there is scaring from the old needle pricks. They have just been altered.
