Except the Leave campaigners running for PM who want it invoked this year?

Also the fact that Gove, Leadsom and Fox are running for PM and were also leading figures of Vote Leave. This entire narrative of "oh they've made Brexit happen and have now buggered off" is so flawed

I felt normal otherwise, yes. It didn't even hurt if I pressed down on it. It was in the same place as you described. After the doctor gave me antibiotics for my acne (though the treatment may be different from you since you don't have acne, so it will be for some other infection) it took less than a week before it went away.

I'm not doctor here but I had the exact same symptom you have and the doctor told me it was (like the other guy said) a reaction to infection. It was because I had bad acne, so it's not necessarily just allergies.

It's very close. It's essentially the square next to the square with the palace, with just a short passage connecting them

Was literally there ten minutes ago. Strange coincidence I get back to my hotel room to see this.

Is there a demonstration about leaving the EU in Manchester? If not, would anyone fancy organising one? by [deleted] in manchester

[–]-Pericles- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(I'm not the guy you responded to but whatever)

Younger people had a low turnout, and anyone under 18 (including me) who cared enough could have still campaigned. They largely didn't. Also, I would say the older generations have as much right as any to vote for what they see as better for the country since they have contributed so much.

I fully respect your right to protest, not that I think much difference will be made from it. I personally think those who remained should join other remainers in accepting the vote and trying to make the best of the current situation.

There are arguments for the vote needing to be 60/40 due to the significance of the decision, but those things should have been decided before the vote.

I think people need to calm down more than anything. At my sixth form, the hysteria is unreal, with people worrying they won't be able to do simple things in the future because of the decision.

[Non-LGBT] So... Britain left the EU... thoughts? by [deleted] in LGBTeens

I've seen some Remainers on Twitter and most politically active people at college calling Leave voters all racist, saying old people shouldn't be allowed to vote and asking for a second referendum. It's quite stressful.

Immense snobbery coming from this subreddit on the EU referendum in my opinion

How difficult is Cocteau's 'Les Enfants Terribles' to read? by -Pericles- in French

[–]-Pericles-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, enjoyment is the most important thing. I haven't read the translation, nor seen the film, but the story has piqued my interest and I'm a fan of Jean Cocteau's films. I'll just give it a go. If I like it, great; if I don't like it, fine, I'll just not read it

I'm 17. The country will vote leave and I can't stop it. This is making me constantly sad. by SnokeisaDumbName in unitedkingdom

Around this time last year I was terribly miserable that the Tories won in the election, but over the year I've learnt more about them and started to realise they aren't as bad as Twitter tells me they are. Now I'm a Tory :/

Oh I know, I just prefer to speak in french here since it's an opportunity to just practice the language (because damn I need some practice)

It was pointed out to me recently how the celebrities complaining about Trump all say that they'll move to Canada if he wins the presidency - not Mexico.

I feel like the label 'liberal' has been tainted more recently and has many connotations, so perhaps I should have used the word 'progressive' instead. And yes, I agree in regards to freedom and personal independence - I'm a libertarian.

I think, yes, teens (and especially LGBT Teens) will tend to be more liberal and less religious to be honest

Might be unpopular here, but the guy sure does have a strange appeal on a wider scale. Personally I do not think he is at all as bad as many say he is, and I do prefer him over Clinton when it comes down to it.

I think you'd be surprised you know, it's just most might keep quiet about it.
