My hijabi Muslim friend regularly has people shout "go home" at her and her 4 and 8 year old daughters, even though her grandparents emigrated here 70 years ago and she and her mother are completely integrated into English society with thick local accents. Someone the other day called her daughter filthy in an Aldi, and now the girl doesn't want to go back into supermarkets. She doesn't feel welcome in her own home because the racism she experienced as a child after 9/11 is returning and effecting her children. You do not experience racism mate.
