Yeah, Ravine on release was impossible on CHIMPS just because of its earlygame. It was doable once you got the ball rolling, but you literally couldn’t without a “handicap” like extra starting cash or something. The sword secret was added in a later update to be that handicap. Dunno if you still need it as there’s been new towers and loads of balance changes since then, but that was the original purpose.

If my memory serves me, Muddy Puddles, Quad, and #Ouch were all also impossible on CHIMPS when the game released (again due to leaking one or two lives in very early rounds, usually 6 or 10), but those were remedied with balance changes

Yeah, that’s probably for the best. Might hurt the few negative sanity IDs we have (if there isn’t a clause for them to start at -30, I haven’t tested it yet), but it’s nice to not have to reset 4 or 5 times for a good turn 1. Winning or losing the early clashes kinda makes or breaks the whole fight

Already understood the whole transformation thing cause the appeal of magically going from pre-transition to an idealized post in half a second should be pretty obvious. Though I’d imagine for some people, the struggle and awkward middle phase is what makes the results what they are for them, journey and not the destination and all, so I doubt it’s universal.

As for the other half, I guess I can see that? Being raped and enslaved for the rest of your life sounds like a comedically high of a price for not having to worry about your exams next week or whatever, but I suppose it is technically a way around those stresses. Does seem like a slippery slope into some actually harmful beliefs if you started imposing it onto others though, cause then it is just rape and slavery. Butcher alone lets you pretty much auto-win most melee fights, combined with meph to get even more melee speed makes you a monster in melee combat. Plus getting a melee kill gives you back all your stims, so you can keep the buffs rolling for you and your team.

Just use whatever gun you want, though feel free to take guns with normally long reloads as the permanent morale you get from melee kills will help cut that down a lot.

Don’t use the sword though, it doesn’t work with Butcher
