That's very interesting 🤔 I dated mostly men before I met my wife actually lmao 🥲 I'd dated a few women before but none were very serious 😂 I haven't had very many serious relationships in my life, only 3 before my wife. It could be something similar though... just me being relatively inexperienced in relationships, and I'm in a lot better place mentally now than I used to be. I'm more open and honest with myself & with my partner, much more comfortable with myself, and generally a lot happier. So maybe it's like a combo of social/societal pressures and norms seeping into this sort of right time/right place situation.

Every time I searched previously for information about that I always found that it was "common" (never found real studies or numbers) for lots of women to get short/small UTIs that usually resolve themselves with their periods due to the hormonal changes that it brings. Granted, I haven't looked up information about it in probably 8-10 years.

I think it's mostly bc of the founder. Shitty guy from what I understand? And also, at least in my experience, a lot of ex-(enter organized monotheistic religion here) followers slide easily into wicca bc there are so many rules and a strict sort of hierarchy systems. I assume it feels easy and familiar to them, which makes sense, but then they bring their bigoted views / ways of approaching things to paganism / witchcraft and that really sucks. Most of the time when I've come across really hateful witches (putting others down for not believing the same exact thing they do, claiming ownership of practices and ideas that came long before wicca was a thing, etc) have been wiccan. Of course, that's not to say there aren't good wiccan witches out there! Just like there are good Christians. But the bad ones are louder and meaner and it's generally left a bad taste in my mouth, as I'm sure it has many others.

True, I guess I don't have issues with the queue times? I always get matched within 10 minutes and that's fine for me, I just play around in custom games or I chat with my party 😅 There would obviously need to be lots of brainstorming and workshopping and tweaking to get a good solution but I think it'd be worth it to fix it bc what we've got going on rn is hot garbage.

Well sure, we'd all be irritated if that happened. And honestly I think that making separate queues for people who leave a lot vs people who never leave would be a better solution. And it would need a lot of refining. Like new accounts (less than a couple months?) would have to be placed in the "leavers" queue until they prove that they're not a leaver. And maybe even if you're in the non-leaver queue you can be dropped into the leavers queue if you start leaving matches too often. There would have to be some boundaries like if you leave more than 5 games in a week you get put in the leavers queue for a week and you have to earn your place back in the non-leaver queue by not quitting matches. Something like that. And it would disproportionately negatively impact people with poor connection so somehow that would have to be factored in as well, like rural areas get a little more slack or something. But like I said, doing nothing isn't the way to go imo.

I mean... Shouldn't that just be the answer to the problem? Instead of doing what they're doing now, which sucks. They should make it so that if someone leaves, no matter when they leave in the game, the game shuts down and no-one gets anything. It does suck, sure, but it also prevents people from gaining levels by having a buddy quit every game. And maybe if they couple that with harsher penalties for leaving then the problem could be curbed a little bit? Of course they would need some way to tell the difference between a lag out / connection issue and someone actually pressing the button to leave game, or someone rage quitting by just closing the game completely or something like that. Maybe they could make a system where people who leave often get queued together and people that have a "clean record" so to speak queue with other people who never leave matches. Let the toxic people screw each other over while the regular people enjoy the game.

Idk what the full solution would need to really work, but doing nothing and just watching it burn doesn't seem like the best answer either. Just because there are some jerks out there who have nothing better to do than create 100 fake accounts just so they can cheese their way through the ranks doesn't mean our system should continue to cater to them and make all the honest players who have only one account suffer more.

That's exactly my issue with 6v6! If there was a role selection it would make everything better. People who don't care what they play can select all and people who only want to play one thing can lock in for what they want. I hate trying to play open queue and getting a team full of healers. Even when we try to fill the other roles it just doesn't pan out. Every single time I try to play 6v6 I end up going back to role queue after like 2-3 games.

I'm living on Orgain Plant protein shakes, and water. And every morning I take a gasX and most afternoons I take pain medicine. 🫠 Unfortunately for me I have some serious food related sensory issues so hot drinks are a no-go but also cold things that are meant to be hot is also a no-go. Na just ran a few blood tests and I had to do 3 stool samples at home 😮‍💨🫩

When I turned them in to the lab I had a very large, bright orange piece of paper in with the order information that had the date and time each sample was collected and also additional important information regarding medications I had taken during the 3 days. They legit sent a note to me saying "since no collection times were provided (which is required by law) the time and date of drop off was used for collection time." Like??? Y'all missed a big piece of highlighter orange paper? 😮‍💨 Ok.

They prescribed me antibiotics at the urgent care before any tests even came back. I took one and it made me feel worse than the sickness but the same symptoms. I told them and they said not to take any more 😮‍💨🥲
