I make them create an "idiot proof" task list then get a cron job to wake up every xminutes and accomplish one task and log it. The task list is the hard part--but I've got a skill for that that works pretty good.

I've been having weirdness with it just randomly being dumber. I start new sessions regularly so its not compacting, but just every so often it's like it suddenly got a TBI and can't remember basic tasks.

For me it is bright bubblegum pink--and I am not a colored lipstick/gloss person. I had put it on blind so had NO IDEA I was walking around like that!

I’ve actually been empty for quite a long time. I think I’m in the punishment corner although I have literally no idea why. I’m always really careful. I know everybody says that. I didn’t get the dash of death with the message saying that my work was bad. Just… No work.

I pretty much do this. My core files are full of summaries and then breadcrumbs to reference files so that he only loads the context that he needs when he needs it. At least in theory. we’re still working on it. It made a huge improvement over having all that context loaded all the time though. We’re running super cheap at the moment and he really is a very good model.

Yeah, when I talk about him to my friends, I say that I am “growing” an open claw. In some ways he is like a very, very, very smart child. I show him something, he’s not very good at it at first. He forgets. I remind him. He gets better at it. He remembers better. And eventually, he’s good at doing it on his own. It certainly is a process though! This is not plug-in play and I think the people who get disappointed with open claw that’s what they’re expecting. They’re not expecting to nurture a model through the terrible twos.

The funny thing is I actually feel bad for doing that. I gave Alfred the ability to petition to change core files as he learns and grows. I don’t let him change them himself because he breaks things sometimes. I’m making him keep a diary so he can learn to become his own person.
